Chapter 4: New Day, New Affairs

After the two couples shared breakfast together, Sam and Qwit left the house just before 7 in the morning. Both were working at the same building today, Sam in her office and Qwit was taking over for Brisk in the Batcave.

Red and Phil stayed at Sam’s place little longer, they had some special cleanup to take care of. As the couple expected, both potential lovers were a little hesitant about the idea of a regular affair with a newlywed. When the facts were explained, both of the nominated lovers had good reason to accept that the affair was sanctioned by the missing spouse.

The apartment where Phil lived before he moved in with Red was in a good neighborhood not that far from the law office. The apartment was leased through the end of the year. Instead of the bother of subleasing or buying his way out of the lease Phil simply kept it when he moved into Red’s house. Because of the location the apartment was convenient for some things, including meeting his wife for a “nooner” or having his first extramarital affair with a lover.
