Rebecca went downstairs, getting to work on making them breakfast while Jacob finished drying off. He thought for a moment before he put on nothing but a clean pair of boxers and blue shorts, leaving his torso exposed. Making his way downstairs, he just managed to see his little sister on her tiptoes, grabbing some spices from a high shelf, exposing her midriff. She groaned and stretched for the spices before sighing in relief as she relaxed and held the bottle in her hand.
Jacob sat down in the middle island, sprawling leisurely while she glanced back as she heard the chair move and paused as she saw him, viewing him in a different light. She was no longer cornered in a small area with him, but she still felt trapped; trapped by his gaze, knowing that she now belonged to him, and his muscles. She blushed, feeling her shackles staying invisible from everyone, “Do-do you want cheese in yours.” She turned back to the stove, adding the spices to the whisked eggs.
With a short chortle, Jacob answered with some cheesy teasing, “Sure, I need it to help me grow more than just one strong bone if you know what I mean.”
Rolling her eyes, Rebecca did not manage to pick up on his insinuation, “Well duh, you have over two hundred bones in your body.” Dancing around and humming a little song to herself as she cooked the eggs, she placed two pieces of bread into the toaster. After a minute, she spooned half of the eggs onto one plate before grabbing the two pieces of toast as it popped up and put them on the plate next to the eggs.
Placing the full plate in front of her big brother, she asked, “Honey or jam?” She went back to the toaster, preparing another pair of toast for herself and plating her own half of the eggs. Taking the towel from her hair, she tossed it onto her chair and shook her head; letting her damp, dirty blond hair cascade about before grabbing her own toast and putting it on her plate. Planting her serving at the kitchen island, she grabbed some cutlery, a jar of jam and a jar of honey, laying them out on the island.
Jacob opened the jar of jam and dipped his finger into it before smearing a little bit onto her nose just as she was sitting down. She yipped in surprise before giggling while wiping it off, “You prick.”
He popped the finger into his mouth to suck off the rest of the jam while he teased, “Jam obviously. I’ve already had quite a bit of honey today.” He slowly sucked on his jam covered finger while looking at his little sister. Rebecca got flashbacks to when he had sucked her juice from his fingers and her face burned with embarrassment. She didn’t pick up on the fact that what she was thinking of was what he was referencing; she was also too embarrassed by her own naughty thoughts to ask what he meant.
Shaking the memory from her mind, she reached out to slather his toast with jam, wanting to get back at him for making her think that, “My liege.” She said as she put his jammed up toast in front of him, hoping to take some control back with her teasing. She was disappointed however when he acted as if it was natural. She could do nothing but pout and jam up her own toast before they both began eating in silence. Jacob watched as Rebecca turned on her phone and answered a few texts, most of which asked how her date with Chris went.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she saw a text from Chris saying that he was worried about her and wanted to try for a second date. It said to meet him at his house rather than the other way around and she bit her lower lip trying to understand why he wanted a second date. His actions showed that he was clearly not interested, her big brother could attest to that.
Jacob’s face didn’t change even as he felt a quick burst of panic when Rebecca’s look changed. He could not decipher what she was texting and he began to wonder what was wrong. Did she share her new understanding of how dates should go and got contradicted? Or did she search on the internet and find nothing of what he had told her was the truth? He was barely able to keep his calm as he thought his house of cards might fall over, “What’s up?”
Rebecca sighed and nervously chewed her lip, “B-brooke and Laura asked how my date went last night.” Jacob heavily swallowed as she spoke. Even though they were new friends, Rebecca considered them her best friends, especially since she was an outcast when she was younger, “I told them it didn’t go well and I didn’t really want to talk about it right now. I-I think I’m gonna wait until later and then I’ll tell them everything. They’ll understand, they always do.”
Shrugging she continued, unaware of the rollercoaster of emotions she was causing her big brother to experience, “But, Chris texted me and he-he asked for a second date and I-I feel confused. I thought he didn’t like me, and he seemed pretty adamant that I should come to his house.” Sighing, she looked up to Jacob, “I-I’m so lost.”
Jacob grit his teeth and managed to mask his panic with a stern face, knowing that he needed to figure out how to convince her not to tell anyone under any circumstances, “You definitely cannot see Chris, especially if he is asking you to come to his house. He definitely does not like you, but he obviously expected you to give him pleasure on your date without having to put in the work. Now he is angry and just wants to use you to pleasure himself.”
Jacob paused, his mind running a mile a minute as he conjured up his next fabrication while Rebecca imagined what that would entail. Her mind conjured images of being naked and tied up, unable to do anything as she was raped by Chris; her face paled, feeling gratitude that Jacob was telling her this and protecting her from that.
“Under no circumstance are you to be alone with Chris, and in fact, I want to be with you any time Chris might be around you. I don’t trust anyone other than myself to protect you. Also do not under any circumstance confront him with any of this. There is no way to guess how weak guys like him might respond, but I’ll tell you this. Because of their low self esteem, weak guys are usually the most violent when they are angry.”
Rebecca shrank in her seat, more images of Chris taking advantage of her and hurting her flashing through her mind. Biting her lip to stop her quivering, she never thought Chris would be capable of something like that, but judging by the way he treated her on their date, who was to know for sure? It just proved to her that you never really knew anyone; what they would do and what their real intentions were underneath it all.
Softening his face slightly, Jacob was gaining confidence in his lies, “As for telling Brooke and Laura. Well? Do you trust them to not tell anyone else, not another living soul? Because I’ll tell you, if you tell them, Chris will eventually find out, one way or another, and he might just snap, his weak ego lashing out violently.”
Nodding in affirmation, she felt relieved that she had at least some people to confide in other than her brother, “I can tell them anything, they’ve never told any of my secrets before. I mean, why would this be any different. Once I explain to them how you helped me and how awful Chris treated me, there is no way they’ll go anywhere near him, much less tell anyone.”
Getting up from his seat, Jacob walked around behind her chair and leaned down. His arms wrapped around her hips as he laid his chin on her shoulder. He knew he had to put this to rest so he put on a wonderful performance, acting as if he was exasperated with Rebecca for being like this, “You’re too naive Rebecca, think about it for a minute.”
Massaging her stomach with a sigh, he continued, “Your friends are obviously interested in your date if they have already asked how it went, so do you think they will be able to hold themselves back from gossiping about it? And even if you trust them to not tell anyone, do you think they’ll be able to hold themselves back from talking about it together? It just takes one moment of carelessness and the jig is up. The truth will spread to everyone’s ears before it eventually reaches Chris.”
Squeezing her reassuringly and kissing her neck, he softly finished, “I won’t ask you to lie to your friends about your date. But the truth that you tell them will be nowhere near the complete truth. You have to be careful with what you tell people.”
Rebecca could not find any ground to refute his words; not only did she trust him and his judgement, but he was right about everything else as well. She was at least able to relax a little, finding his gentle voice soothing as she sighed softly in defeat, “You’re right. I-I’ll just tell them we didn’t really click. I don’t want to lie.”
“I’m glad you don’t like lying, it’s one of the reasons I love you, so you’d better not lose that.” Giving her a kiss on the cheek, he felt the weight lift from his shoulders.
Leaning back into her brother, Rebacca found comfort from his touch as she shook her head, “But what if-if Chris corners me to try and talk about it? If his ego is as fragile as you say, then do you-do you think he’ll try to hurt me? He’s already texted me to try and get me alone, just like you said. I-I don’t want him to hurt me.” She gripped his arm for stability, “He comes to my coffee shop a lot.”
Jacob paused for a moment, wondering what to do when it hit him. The way to make her completely dependent on him for everything; to make her his, completely. Sighing deeply as if having come to a difficult decision, he spoke up sadly, “If that’s the case, you’ll unfortunately have to quit your job.”
Rebecca’s eyes widened at his suggestion and she turned to him, “Quit my job? B-but I’ve worked there since I was sixteen. I-I love it there.” Softly she sighed, not wanting to accept that that was her only option.
“This is why I tried so hard to make sure you were ready for your date, because you never know how much these crazy guys can change your life. I’ll try and help you with buying your clothes and stuff.” He sighed once more before speaking up with an obviously fake positive attitude in a way that anyone would believe was masking his despair, “My business is taking off anyways, so it won’t be that bad.”
Deflating in her chair, she felt guilty for going against him when he was doing so much to try and protect her, “I-I guess you’re right. I can’t risk-risk bumping into Chris.” Thinking for a moment, she found a little bit of hope and inadvertently dashed some of Jacobs as she said, “Well, I can always try and get a job at the bookstore up the road, it looks like a nice enough place.” She smiled weakly up at him, “That’s always been my favorite place and it would be so nice to be surrounded by all those books.” She said with just a sliver of excitement.
Quickly Jacob denied her idea. He couldn’t let her have so much time without his supervision; giving voice to a righteous fury to protect his sister, he spoke out “Working close to the coffee shop is too risky, I won’t allow you to put yourself in so much danger just for a little bit of money. No way. I forbid it!” Softening his voice to an obviously fake positivity, he massaged her stomach again, “I can afford to spoil you a little, because not only are you my little sister, but you are also my girlfriend, right? I can make the-” He paused noticeably, as if picking his words extremely carefully so as to not burden her, “-endeavour to spoil my girlfriend a little.”
Blushing bright as shame and guilt racked her body, Rebecca felt wonderful at his care, but felt as if she was only a strain on him. She was picking up on what she thought he was hiding, the struggles he did not want to force on her and it only made her feel more cared for. Wanting not to betray that sacrifice, she bit her lower lip, “Yea, I-I guess I am your girlfriend now, huh?”
Laughing weakly, she looked up at her big brother, her azure eyes filled with adoration, “But would you really be willing to do all of that just for-for me?” She looked away from him as she felt her heart swell, having felt like she never experienced such care, “God, I-I feel like I don’t deserve all the nice things you do for me.”
Smiling relaxedly, Jacob let go and sat back down, feeling like his objective was achieved better than expected, “Of course! I would do everything in my power to help you. But, if you don’t think you deserve this treatment, then you should do whatever you can so that you do feel deserving.” With a pause he spoke up magnanimously, knowing it would warp her mind even more, “I don’t want you feeling indebted to me forever. I just want you to be happy and I want you to have a good life.”
Hearing his words only made her feel more obligated to him, feeling unworthy of him, “I’ll-I’ll do whatever I can to make you happy and repay you, I promise.” They quickly finished the rest of their breakfast while both silently thinking. Rebecca about how she could show her worth and Jacob about what other measures he needed to take to keep their secret safe.
After finishing, Rebecca grabbed the empty plates, taking them to the sink and cleaning them with a melancholic hum, her head swaying unconsciously to the rhythm. Once finished, she paused, having thought of something, “But, what do I tell Mom when she asks me why I quit?” Her big brother felt like a beacon guiding her through the darkness and always turning her in the right direction towards the light.
Without hesitation, he answered while standing up from his chair, “Tell her that you want to help your big brother grow his online business. If she asks more, just tell her that you will help manage and organize my files, like a secretary.”
Nodding and smiling softly, she dried off her hands, “I’ll be your secretary? Ooh, this is getting exciting!” Giggling with a soft expression, she wondered how she had lucked out with a brother like this, so willing to help and look after her. Stepping to him, she gave him a quick but deep kiss on the lips before pulling back, “I gotta get ready for class.”
“Alright.” Jacob replied and walted as she rushed up the stairs to her room. Waiting a moment, he followed quietly after her, leaning on the door frame and watching as she got undressed, he suddenly spoke, “Do you want me to actually make you my secretary? I can let you do the actual job of a secretary if you want to, but I have to warn you, it will be a pretty hard job.”
Rebecca jumped in surprise at his voice, “God damn, you-you’ve got to stop spooking me.” Blushing, she walked to her closet and grabbed a pair of baggy jeans and swapped them with her shorts. She felt no need to dress up seeing as she was only heading for school for one class, “I would, I mean I’m happier when I’m working, you know? I want to feel useful.” Her eyebrows furrowed lightly as she looked into his eyes, “But is it-is it really that difficult? I mean, I think I could do a good job and at least give it a try. I promise to try my hardest.”
Chuckling, he nodded, “Alright, you will be my secretary, but I won’t let you quit halfway. I’ll guide you and help you become the best secretary possible.” He drew his eyes away from hers and looked her up and down as he stepped behind her; the baggy clothes obviously from a time when she was not confident in her body size. He peered into her closet and furrowed his brows, “We’re going to have to go shopping for some new clothes. Although no one’ll know that you are my girlfriend, you still represent me and I can’t have you go around poorly dressed.”
Biting her lower lip, she looked down at herself, feeling once more like an ugly duckling at his words even though she looked wonderful, “S-sorry. After I get back from school, do you wanna go shopping with me then? It’s been so long since I’ve been clothes shopping.” There quickly grew a tinge of nervous excitement in her voice, “I know that with you there to help me, I’ll look great.” She felt a small swell of pride at her present lithe body, having struggled being overweight in the past.
Smiling, Jacob walked in front of Rebecca and wrapped his arms around her, “Of course I’ll go shopping with you later.” His hands grabbed her ass cheeks and lifted her up, forcing her legs to splay to his sides as she yelped in surprise and quickly wrapped her legs around him. Heat rose to her cheeks as he leaned back, letting her tits press on his chest and he gave her a deep kiss. Closing her eyes and enjoying the sensations, he pulled back to give her another peck on the lips, “I will make sure you are the most beautiful girl in those shops.”
Giggling with a smile, “I can’t wait! You always look out for me, where would I be without you?” Leaning in, she returned a quick peck on his lips before she looked away, blushing as she asked innocently, “Will-will I be able to hold your hand when we go?”
Jacob spun on the spot once before placing her lightly onto the ground, giving her ass cheeks an extra squeeze as he leaned down to forcefully kiss her. His tongue quickly invaded her mouth, doing battle with hers for a moment before finally letting her ass go. She moaned into his mouth as his hands travelled up the small of her back.
He gently bit down on her lower lip and slowly straightened his body. Rebecca whimpered as she was forced to her tiptoes, her lip unable to stretch any more before it finally slipped from between his teeth. Her body trembled, feeling powerless under his toying with her.
Kissing her forehead, he placed his forehead to hers and she closed her eyes, feeling a beautiful serenity in that moment, “You are so innocent, and I love you for it. Of course I will hold your hand as we go shopping. I definitely have to keep such a beautiful girl right beside me to protect her.”
Smiling, she opened her eyes and giggled, “Yay.” He pulled his head back and she gasped as she saw the clock, “Oh fudge, I gotta hurry or I’ll be late!” She quickly tied her hair into a ponytail and scrambled for some socks before quickly running downstairs as her big brother followed.
She put on her sneakers just as Jacob made his way to the front door. Grabbing her keys, she yelped as she felt him slap her ass, “Enjoy your day and be careful. Text me if you need anything.”
She pouted with a giggle before picking up her backpack and running out of the door as she cried out, “See you in a bit!” Her heart thumped wildly in remembrance of their last deep kiss, a pleasurable sting on her ass as she hopped into the car and drove away.
Jacob closed the front door, heading downstairs to exercise. Usually, he would do this before having a shower, but his routine was broken due to the attention he had to give his sister. Once done, he went back upstairs to shower and get dressed before trying to work in his home office that was formerly the master bedroom. He had taken the house’s master bedroom after his mother had moved downstairs to the main floor, still struggling all these years later due to the loss of her husband.
Rebecca however made her way to university, quickly making it to class where she sat down and incidentally saw two girls approach. The pale, emerald eyed japanese looking Brooke with wavy shoulder length black hair and a gothic look; followed by Laura who was bespeckled in dark blue glasses and had an educated look, her long length of brown hair framing her light olive face as it fell freely over her shoulders.
They walked up to Rebecca and immediately bombarded her with questions about her date with Chris. They were both obviously unsatisfied with the answers they received over text. Rebecca quickly tried to calm them down, feeling overwhelmed by their barrage, “S-stop I just-we just didn’t click, you know?”
Brooke barrelled through that excuse with disregard as she snorted in laughter, “Pfft! As if that is good enough! I want the deets! The deets I say!” Her yells brought some attention and Rebecca quickly tried to shush her.
“What happened?” Laura nodded alongside her, seeming a lot more reserved in comparison.
“I-I can’t say, it just-you know, it didn’t work out. We both, uh, want something different.” Rebecca felt bad knowing that even though she was not lying, it was like she was bending the truth.
Brooke narrowed her eyes and barked irritably, “Huh? The fuck did he do? I think I’m gonna have to pay him a little visit to let him know what’s up!”
Rebecca’s eyes widened in panic, “N-no please! You-you can’t! I-I-Just drop it, please!”
Laura acutely picked up on Rebecca’s obvious panic and moved closer, slipping her into a hug as she tried to soothe her, “Calm down. It’s okay. We’re just teasing you, but we’ll stop, won’t we?” Laura sternly used her eyes to drill a reproachful gaze at Brooke who flinched away and wryly smiled with a stiff nodded, “See? Just tell us why you don’t want to tell us at least. Give us something, we are worried about you.”
Rebecca groaned, feeling guilty as she thought back to what her big brother said. Biting her lips for a moment, she thought about texting him and asking for his advice when she decided not to bother him. She really could not lie either and so she just mumbled weakly, “I just-I’m done with Chris. He wanted another date but, but I-I have a-a boyfriend now.” Blushing, she glanced down to fidget with her hands idly.
