Opening Earth Part 3

Introduction
Part 1 of Opening Earth addressed the life of Ambassador Doug Smith from his early years on Vora until he presented his Ambassadorial Credentials to the United Nations.
Part 2 of Opening Earth addressed Doug’s life from the time he presented his Ambassadorial Credentials to the UN until part way through his and his four wives’ honeymoon. At the end of Part 2, a reporter from one of Europe’s media outlets learned of a disagreement Doug and his wives had with their table companions on a cruise ship. Their table companions were a religious extremist and his family. The reporter filed a newspaper article with his paper, and the headline screamed Multiverse Ambassador has Four Wives and Three Slaves. The article also revealed Doug and his wives didn’t believe in the Christian God and they were aliens from outer space.
Part 3 builds on Parts 1 and 2 of the story, so if you haven’t read Parts 1 and 2, I strongly suggest that you do so before beginning Part 3.
Note
I used to live in Northglenn, Colorado. I drove through Greeley, Colorado once back in the early 70’s. I have never been in the area around Riverside Reservoir. However thanks to the Internet, some of this story’s information about the area is accurate, and the rest is a figment of my imagination.
In the story, Doug’s Embassy is located on a fictitious ranch that is about halfway between Greeley and Fort Morgan, Colorado. The ranch’s southern border overlaps the northern portion of the Riverside Reservoir. It is my understanding that the property around the reservoir is actually privately owned, and despite what is in the story, the owners state the reservoir is not used as a recreational area. However, the Internet contains articles indicating the reservoir is a popular place to fish.
