Chapter 51

Fantasy Sex Story: Chapter 51 - Kal can fly now, which means it is time to go get Ikuno. However, the ability to fly doesn't help much when trying to cross a vast desert filled with unknown hazards. This brings him to Fazal, a city on the edge of the Sulerin Desert and a dangerous place for those unaccustomed to its intrigue. Kal quickly realizes things become a lot more deadly when a skilled assassin has you in their sights.

“Any ideas why she’d be so upset we saved her?” Kal asked as Ikuno came out of the room Kashka had been using.

“None at all,” said the oni. “She’s done nothing but cry since she woke up, and even then, she seems to be trying really hard to be quiet.”

“I’m assuming that her silence has to do with whatever it was we destroyed, or do you think it’s possible there’s a predator in the area with exceptional hearing she’s afraid of?”

“Doubtful,” said Kashka. “Since you were so busy, I researched the area and found nothing about any animals, monsters, or monster girls in the area with hearing so impressive it would warrant a response like hers.”

Ikuno sat down just outside the marble that rimmed the magical tent’s fire pit. “Then we will have to wait until she’s in a place mentally that she can at least nod yes or no. Right now, I can’t get anything out of her.” The oni looked around. “Where’s our new friend?”

“In the bedroom, waiting,” said Kal with a smirk.

“What’s so funny?”

“She’s not waiting for him,” grumbled Kashka.

Ikuno chuckled. “Rosso seemed quite happy with having three masters to serve. I’m surprised you haven’t tested her out, Kal.”

The mage shrugged. “Maybe later, but from the sounds of things, she wouldn’t let me touch her if I wanted to.”

“That seems odd for a pleasure slave.”

“It would for any other slave, but it sounds like the succubus-trained slaves are adamant their owner take them before accepting another lover.”

Ikuno raised an eyebrow. “That seems unlikely.”

“Not really,” said Kashka. “Succubi-trained slaves from Fazal have a lot more say in what they do and how they are treated because of their skill. She explained it as a personal choice, but many imposed it to avoid being easily traded.”

“Yours and Kal’s memories certainly bear that out. I’ve been looking forward to experiencing one of these pleasure slaves ever since Kal shared the memory with me.”

“I hate to tell you this, but I don’t think we brought enough money to afford the same treatment we got crossing the Sulerin Desert the first time,” said Kal. “Once we are done with the Meekari, I don’t want to sit around waiting for another caravan to show up either. We could cross along the rocky desert at the base of the northern mountains where the sandworms can’t go.”

“Not a bad idea, if a bit boring,” sighed Ikuno. “Eating fantastic food and being tended to by pleasure slaves sounds so much more fun.”

“With my business ventures in Silvermoon. I’m sure we will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the caravan and maybe figure out a way to hunt sandworms. I was raised to maintain a balance with nature, but I feel the world would be a better place if we exterminated those.”

“Be careful with that kind of thinking,” Ikuno warned. “Removing a large predator like that can have unintended consequences.”

“How so?”

“Laika mentioned a race of humanoid mantids in the southern desert held in check by the sandworms,” said Kashka. “If we remove the sandworms, then the mantids may take their place, and who’s to say if they would be better or worse?”

“But if the sandworms keep them back, then surely they can’t be worse.”

“They may not be worse overall, but a tribal race of insectoids could be more trouble for the caravan than the sandworms and their current agreement. If anything, maybe hunt those far enough north to threaten the caravan and leave the ones in the south to their own devices.”

“I suppose that might be a better plan, but still...” Kal’s face twisted with disgust. “I wouldn’t mind if they all were dead.”

“I think our time would be better spent trying to figure out what is going on with our rescue than worrying about faraway sandworms,” said the oni.

Kal sighed, “True, but I don’t know where to start. Kelthor is the nearest person I know to a planeswalker, and he’s on the other side of the world. I can’t think of a single tome or book I’ve read that might be able to help here.”

“Let’s go with your assumptions and work forward from there,” Ikuno suggested. “We assume that the girl was afflicted by something from a different plane, the plane of sound or songs. We can also assume that you destroyed whatever it was based on the awful noise it made before disappearing. Whatever you broke is likely the reason why the girl in there is terrified to speak. Since she was unconscious when it happened, she has no idea she can talk again.”

“And we are also assuming she is a Meekari because of the songs that spilled out when I destroyed the ... I’m going to call it a sound elemental, and that Rosso claimed she was a local girl and not taken from a raid on a merchant caravan,” added Kal.

“We can also assume that since she doesn’t know she can talk, she will still be afraid to, which will make it difficult to get information from her,” said Kashka. “Because she was so upset we saved her, I’m going to also suggest that she may have been banished for her affliction or run away from the Meekari to protect them. Perhaps this sound elemental possessing her would have killed her and gone on a rampage had you not destroyed it.”

“It may be too early to call it a possession, not that I know much about ghosts.”

Ikuno shook her head. “I think Kashka has the right idea. Entities can possess a single body part. It’s how mages end up with things like a demonic eye. It isn’t an eye that was once a demon’s, but a demon inhabits that eye, arm, or finger. In her case, this sound elemental might have possessed her throat or vocal cords.”

“Okay...” said Kal as he sat there, lost in thought for a moment. “Then, whatever these entities are, they are attracted to spell-singing?”

“Sounds reasonable. But wouldn’t that mean that spell-singing creates an opening to their plane for them to pass through?” Kashka asked.

“Not necessarily,” said Ikuno. “Spell-singing itself may cause a disturbance on their plane, but that can act like a ripple on a pond. There will always be a fish or two who show up out of curiosity.”

“But if it did open up a small portal, then that could be why it boosts a spell’s power,” suggested Kal. “However, if it’s drawing mana from the other plane, it would be extremely dangerous for the caster to channel that much extra magic. But she’s around my age, and I doubt she has the benefit of my heritage to handle much more than what backflowed when I destroyed the elemental. Casting most of the spells I use would be a death sentence for a mage her age. To cast spells by tapping into magic from another plane feels like a quick way to paint the walls with your guts.”

“Unless the mechanism is different from what we are familiar with,” Ikuno offered.

“That would make the most sense. In a way, it’s the only explanation that makes sense. But I will have to watch someone spellsinging to confirm it.”

“Unfortunately, we won’t be getting any answers from her anytime soon,” said the oni, casting a look toward the room where the girl still lay quietly sobbing in bed. “I agree with Kashka. When she finally recovers enough to speak, she’ll probably refuse. Assuming she is a spell singer, I doubt she will be willing to demonstrate so we can study her.”

“Then we at least need to convince her to take us back to her town,” said Kal before muttering, “Not like we haven’t been searching for it for weeks now.”

“Mori’s father said they were secretive,” said Kashka.

“Understandably, considering they appear to be able to use magic at a much younger age than most, I imagine quite a few mages would be after them.”

“Not to mention, it’s a new form of magic. I’m amazed that there isn’t a camp of researchers out here trying to study them,” said the oni.

Kal looked toward the girl’s room. “Maybe that’s why there isn’t more study or a slew of mages trying to learn their secrets. Maybe others have tried and decided it was too dangerous to pursue.” He sighed and looked back at the fire sprouting from the ring of marble in the middle of the room. “Too many questions and no answers.”

“Maybe,” said Ikuno, shrugging. “But with our knowledge and the little information available, I think we have a starting point at least.”

“Mistress,” called Rosso as she walked toward them from the bedroom. Kal and Ikuno turned and looked while Kashka ducked her head like a child caught creating mischief. “Two hours have passed. You wished to bathe now.”

Ikuno chuckled, “That’s what she was waiting for.”

“Mistress?” the pleasure slave asked again, holding out her hand to the cat.

“Awfully pushy for a slave,” grumbled Kashka as she reluctantly took the offered hand and let Rosso pull her to her feet.

“I feel like you should have expected that after Laika,” Kal called after them. He had to admit that Rosso had a deliciously plump ass. Side by side with Kashka’s, it was definitely much more plump, but he couldn’t think of the cat-girl’s bottom without thinking about his first time sliding his cock inside of it.

“Kashka’s butt wins because you’ve fucked it?” asked Ikuno.

“No, Kashka’s butt wins because it’s Kashka’s, and I love her,” he said with a glare at the oni. “Rosso’s may be nicer to look at than a lot of my women’s bottoms, but I’ll choose any and every one of you over her. If I’m being honest, I’d take most of The Scarlet Bitch’s crew, Anika, Mori, and Alya over Rosso.”

“You forgot Roka. I still miss that girl’s tongue. But aren’t you being a little harsh? Rosso’s beautiful.”

“It’s not that she isn’t beautiful or desirable. I don’t know her.” He grinned at the oni. “One of the great things about having women taking care of me all the time is that I don’t constantly wonder how I can sleep with every new woman I meet. I like that it’s just as important to get to know her and decide if I want her as a companion or to let the opportunity pass. Since she’s Kashka’s slave
I’m sure we will end up playing around at some point, but I’m much more interested in making love to Kashka. I’ve missed her.”

“Do you know how hard it is not to act all upset and ask if I haven’t been good enough for you,” said Ikuno with an exaggerated pout. Her ear twitched, and she looked toward the room with the Meekari girl. “She stopped sobbing, but it doesn’t sound like she’s asleep. Do you want to say hello, or should I? We are probably the worst two to greet her after everything she’s been through at the hands of the bandits.”

Kal shook his head. “I am, you aren’t. She might be a little put off by your size, but she woke up in your arms, and you were the one who carried her in there. You’re the best choice of all of us except maybe Rosso.”

“And I was about to get a treat, too, now that the other two were gone,” she said with a hungry look at Kal’s crotch before getting to her feet.

“Haven’t you had enough of me these past couple of weeks?” Kal chuckled.

Ikuno looked back at him over her shoulder. “Never,” she said before pushing back the canvas door flap and stepping into the girl’s room.

Kal felt as much as saw the pulse of healing magic from Ikuno. Along with trying to show the girl she meant well, Ikuno also checked to be sure the magic worked as intended and that the sound elemental had not returned.

After a few minutes of one-sided talking, the oni convinced the girl to get up and meet the others.

Ikuno stepped out of the room and held the door flap to the side for the girl. She looked to be about his age, with brown hair and eyes similar to his own. She wore the clothes he retrieved from the tent on the outskirts where she was rescued, which consisted of three shirts. The first shirt fit tightly against her skin. Her second layer consisted of a heavy wool knit sweater. The top layer was a blue-gray, densely woven, oiled fabric to keep wind and rain away from the wool. It was similar to what they wore back in Telsin, except the three layers were sewn together into a single garment. Her pants also consisted of three layers with an additional undergarment for her groin and matched her shirt’s color. Kal also grabbed a heavy, fur-lined parka of the same blue-gray material and white fur. The tent was too warm for the parka, but she wore the shirt and pants along with some well-made, wool-lined boots.

Their guest stepped out of the room just in time to hear a long, yowling moan come from the bath.

“Terrible timing, you two!” Kal shouted over his shoulder.

“Sorry!” giggled Rosso.

“She’s not sorry at all,” Kashka sent over the bond as she recovered from an unexpectedly intense orgasm. Kal could almost hear the cat panting.

Ikuno looked down at the girl. “Just a small warning, you’ll be hearing that a lot if you hang around with us. We’re a lusty bunch. If it bothers you, let us know, and we’ll try to figure something out. This is Kal Runesmith. He’s mine and Kashka’s mate, along with a few other women who are very far away right now. The two making noise in the bathroom are Kashka, the cat-girl, and Rosso, a pleasure slave that Kashka rescued from the same camp we saved you from. Rosso appears to be showing Kashka her appreciation in the way pleasure slaves are best at.”

“Come,” said Kal, patting the green carpet next to him. “We need to discuss some things.”

The girl looked at him with eyes full of fear for a moment before hiding behind Ikuno. The oni reached back and pulled the girl out in front of her. “Kal won’t hurt you. Well, he might spank your ass, but only if you ask him nicely.”

“Ikuno! Would you please think of what this girl just went through and NOT say things like that?!” Kal snapped.

“Yeah ... that was way out of line.” She looked down at the girl, “Kal’s right. Please forget everything I just said. Seriously, he won’t hurt you, but there are some things you need to hear.”

From Ikuno’s sigh, he guessed the girl refused.

“Fine then, walk with me,” said the oni.

Ikuno ambled toward him, letting the girl stay hidden behind her until she stood next to Kal. The oni sat down and reached behind her. The girl’s mouth opened, and air escaped in a soundless screech as the oni set the girl in her lap, facing Kal.

“When I arrived yesterday, you were on the brink of death, and Ikuno’s healing magic wasn’t working on you. I have a special ability,” Kal’s eyes glowed blue for a moment before fading back to their usual brown, “that let me see Ikuno’s healing magic was going to a focal point in front of your throat instead of into your body. I overloaded this point with mana and broke it. From then on, her healing spells worked normally, and we were able to save you.”

The girl’s hand went to her throat as Kal continued. “When I broke the foci in front of your throat, it filled the tent with what I can only say was hundreds of songs, all being sung at once and loud enough to deafen anyone who heard them.”

“Everyone else was able to cover their ears, but I was holding you at the time. It was quite painful,” Ikuno added.

“As you can guess, I have some questions,” said Kal.

The girl immediately began shaking her head violently, tossing her light brown hair about in refusal.

“We don’t expect you to speak right away,” said Kal. “I don’t know if you have any way of telling that ... thing is gone, and we are complete strangers. So, for now, I’ll try to ask yes or no questions. Is that okay?

The girl tentatively looked up at Ikuno as if for guidance before realizing that, despite acting protective of her, the big blue woman was on his side. Pursing her lips, she glared at Kal and slowly nodded.

“First, are you one of the Meekari?”

The girl nodded.

“Were you banished, or did you run away?”

“That’s not a yes or no—” Ikuno started, but the girl tapped her chest and used her fingers like little legs to show that she had run away.

“Okay, this might go better than I had expected,” said Kal. “Is whatever was going on with your throat deadly?”

The girl nodded vigorously enough to turn her hair into a brown halo floating around her head. She then tilted her head up and let out a silent breath while gesturing with her hand as if singing. The girl then brought both of her hands together in front of her before throwing them up and out.

“You ... explode?” Kal asked in disbelief.

The girl nodded again before tapping her chest and indicating she ran away a second time.

“You ran away to protect the other Meekari.”

She nodded.

“Thank goodness you got rid of it, Kal. For all we know, those few words she said when she woke up could have been enough to set her off if you hadn’t.”

The girl’s eyes suddenly widened, and she grabbed her throat. She remembered speaking when she awoke.

“Wait ... you knew you were about to die. Did you get caught by the bandits on purpose?”

Refusing to meet anyone’s eye, the girl looked away and nodded again.

She made a series of gestures that conveyed, “I got captured and screamed as they took me but never exploded. Eventually, one of them put their dick in my mouth until I passed out. I woke up in your arms.” She said, pointing at Ikuno and motioning as if rocking a baby in her arms. “I didn’t expect to wake up.”

“I’m glad we got you out of there before that happened,” said Ikuno.

“But bandits alive.” She said with a comical, chin-jutting pantomime of the men in the camp.

“No, Kashka killed them all before rescuing Rosso.”

The girl looked up at Ikuno with obvious disbelief.

Kal chuckled. “I assure you that any of us except Rosso could have taken out that camp by ourselves, even if they were all awake and prepared for a fight. Even her, I’m not entirely sure about. Some Fazalan pleasure slaves are made into exceptional fighters and act as bodyguards as well as lovers.

“Kashka did say that the bandit leader threw Rosso at her and told her to fight,” added Ikuno. “I imagine he must have seen Rosso’s skill at some point to do that instead of using her as a meat shield.”

“I’m glad she chose not to fight. I still would have put my gold on Kashka.”

Kashka chose that moment to let out another long, yowling moan from the bathroom.

“Didn’t I tell you to keep it down?!” Kal shouted jokingly. This time, he only received a giggle from Rosso in response. “Not even an apology this time,” he grumbled before turning back to Ikuno and the girl.

“I’m sorry!” Kashka wailed over the bond. “She hasn’t even touched me between the legs yet, but everything she does feels so good!”

Kal chuckled in response but was caught up short by the blush on the Meekari girl’s cheeks. “That’s not the look I’d expect on the face of someone who was nearly fucked to death by an entire bandit camp,” said the mage with a stern stare.

The girl looked up at Ikuno, but the oni shook her head. “I’m just as confused. If you were a monster girl, I could understand to a degree with Kal sitting right there. But you’re human, and humans are not known for their resilience in a situation like yours. You need to explain yourself as best you can.”

“I knew the bandits would take me,” she said with gestures and expressions,
then reached into one of her belt pouches and produced a small jar covered with a cloth dipped in beeswax and tied with a green string. Ikuno took it from her and sniffed it a few times while turning the jar in different directions before handing it back and declaring: “Numbing salve, and it smells like a few added compounds to increase the length of the effects.

The girl nodded. “I used the salve and stretched myself on the way to the bandit camp.”

“So ... you didn’t feel a thing,” said Kal

“I went there to die, not suffer. I didn’t feel anything down below, but you can’t use that on your mouth or throat. That hurt a lot and scared me when I couldn’t breathe. And there were some men who wanted to beat me before using me. I wasn’t expecting that. I was scared.”

“You put that inside you?” asked Ikuno

She nodded.

“That was dangerous,” Ikuno scolded. “Something could have torn inside, and you wouldn’t have known.”

“They wouldn’t have stopped.”

“She has a point,” said Kal after deciphering her gestures.

Ikuno sighed. “It feels wrong. But I’ve never encountered a woman who did something like that willingly ... if you don’t count Rosso, but it sounds like she had them dancing to her beat within hours. Still, you numbed your way through the most painful parts of the experience and didn’t wake up until I’d healed the damage they did to you. I suppose there’s something to be said for being prepared and a little lucky.”

“I went there to die, not suffer,” she repeated.

“And you managed not to suffer so much that you can get turned on by Kashka’s moaning only hours after getting rescued,” said Kal. “That feels unnatural.”

“I went there to die, but I am alive, and the bandits I went to kill are dead. I am happy to be alive.” She pointed toward the bathroom, “Happy body, happy life. I don’t want a happy body, but hearing makes me happy.”
