Erotica Sex Story: Chapter 1: The Booking - They booked a dancer named Vesper. Cash on the dresser. Two hours. No extras unless they paid extras. Cole opened the door. He had booked her. The lake house smelled like beer and new paint.
Tessa sat in the agency van at the end of the drive with the mask in her lap and counted the trucks. Six. She had been told six. Private bachelor. Cash on the dresser, two hours, no extras unless they paid extras. She was twenty-three. She had a new boyfriend of three weeks who thought she was at her cousin’s. She had a name she used when the lights were cheap: Vesper. The mask made Vesper possible. Without it she was just Tessa in borrowed lingerie, and Tessa still said please and thank you and I’m busy this weekend.
She put the mask on. Black, cheap satin, elastic that bit behind her ears. The lingerie was better than the mask. She checked her mouth in the visor. She got out.
Cole opened the door.
She knew the laugh first. Then the shoulders. Then the gray shirt he had worn on their third date, the one she had taken off him on her couch with her mouth already saying don’t laugh if I’m bad at this. He was holding a beer. He was smiling the way men smiled when a body arrived that they had paid for and had not had to be polite to.
He did not see her mouth. He saw the work.
“You Vesper?”
She dropped her voice into the register the agency taught. Low. A little bored.
“You Cole?”
“That’s me. Best man. They’re in the living room. Shoes off, house rule.” He laughed. “Not you. You can wear whatever. We paid for whatever.”
She stepped in. The lake showed through the back glass, black and useless. Music already too loud. Five more bodies in the living room in various states of drunk and trying to look like they weren’t waiting.
Ryan — she would learn the name when they toasted him — wore a paper crown that had already torn. Nate had his feet on the coffee table. A quiet one on the arm of the couch watched her walk like he was taking notes. A phone was already out. Cole slapped it down without looking, a reflex, then put his hand on the small of her back to steer her in.
His hand. She knew the size of it. She kept walking.
“Boys,” Cole said. “This is what your seventy bought. Be nice until she tells you not to be.”
Ryan whooped. Nate said something about getting what they paid for. Tessa smiled with only her mouth and set her little bag on the dresser by the speaker, the way the agency said: bag down means the clock starts.
She danced.
She had done this enough times to know how to make a room think it was being hunted. She put Ryan in the chair first because he was the groom and grooms got the polite version. She let him put two hands on her hips and she rolled against the front of his jeans until he made a noise he tried to turn into a joke. She did Nate second because Nate was already reaching. She let him be rougher. She did the quiet one with almost no touching, which made him swallow. She kept Cole for the pass that would hurt.
“Best man goes last,” Ryan yelled. “Make him suffer.”
