Jessica and Jake were in the kitchen making pancakes when the girls padded in, still looking sleepy.

The four of them sat at the counter and dug into breakfast while chatting about the day’s plans. Jessica said they didn’t have to be out of the cabin until three and that maybe they should go for a hike. Jake mentioned that yesterday morning during his run he had spotted a waterfall off one of the trails and that they should try to find it. The girls thought that sounded wonderful.
After breakfast, they got dressed in comfortable clothes and headed out to find the trail that led to the waterfall. The weather was perfect—sunny with a slight breeze—and it made for a beautiful walk through the forest. Jake found the path, and they trekked through the dense woods until it finally opened into a vast clearing. The air was filled with the refreshing mist from a small but magnificent waterfall, cascading down the rocky cliff into a crystal-clear pool below. Sunlight glinted off the water, creating a shimmer that danced across the surrounding trees. Lily looked at her and smiled. “No, it can wait. I am really enjoying being here with everyone. I feel so close to all of you.”

“Sure, why not?” he responded with a grin. Holly shrugged, laughed, and sat down to put on her own socks and boots. Jake took her hand, and they walked to the edge of the clearing, looking for a path upward.
Once she was sure the two adventurers had left, Jessica propped herself up on one arm, facing Lily, and asked, “What’s on your mind, sweetheart?”
Lily rolled over and looked at her mother, uncertainty in her hazel eyes as she wondered how to approach the subject. She paused a moment before saying, “Last night was magical, the overwhelming pleasure I felt when Jake was inside me and when you...” She trailed off.

The sun continued to bathe them in its warm glow as they lay there, relishing the peaceful aftermath of their open and honest conversation. Water from the waterfall splashed melodiously in the background, a soothing soundtrack to their intimate moment.
After a while of peaceful silence, Lily said quietly, “Mom, I would like to have that kind of relationship with you, if that’s okay.”
Jessica kissed her softly on the lips. “That would make me very happy,” she said, looking at Lily with sparkling eyes. Then, lightening the mood, she added, “I’m getting warm. Want to take another swim?” Lily smiled widely and nodded. They got up and splashed into the pool, Lily’s earlier concerns forgotten.
Meanwhile, Holly and Jake navigated a narrow, rocky trail that seemed to climb toward the top of the waterfall. The thrill of being naked in nature only heightened the sense of exhilaration and liberation.
