Holly proposed they play Truth or Dare, a suggestion that was met, surprisingly, with Jessica’s approval and Lily’s cautious curiosity. Holly went first. “Jake, Truth or Dare?” He chose truth.

Holly’s eyes sparkled mischievously as she asked, “Have you ever gone skinny dipping?”

Jake chuckled. “Of course.” Then he added teasingly, “And that lake looks so tempting that I might just do it again tomorrow.” He winked at Jessica, who grinned in response.

The game continued with harmless truths and silly dares until it was Jessica’s turn to challenge Lily.
