Day Four — The Camera

Erotica Sex Story: Day Four — The Camera - When their eighteen-year-old daughter leaves for a week-long trip, Lena and Manos find themselves alone in the house for the first time in years. What begins as a quiet agreement to explore the edges of their desire quickly deepens. Over seven days they test boundaries, exchange control, and rediscover each other through escalating intimacy. A dual-perspective novel about marriage, longing, and the fragile space between habit and rediscovery.

The Ride Back

We take a taxi home from the hotel shortly before noon. At first we sit in silence, each on our own side of the back seat.

There is no regret. There is fatigue, and the sense that my body still remembers the mirror, the chair, and his hands on me.

Manos turns toward me.

“Tell me how you are, not just whether you’re still okay.”

I watch the road for a moment.

“Tired, a little dizzy from everything we did, but not sorry. You?”

“Same. I’m just trying to understand whether we’re going home as the same people.”

“Then why are you looking at me like you’re waiting for a final diagnosis?”

“Because I don’t only care about what changed inside you. I care whether we opened something between us that we don’t yet know how to hold.”

“Quite a few things changed. But I don’t feel like we’ve moved apart.”

“That’s what I wanted to hear. Not so I could relax, but so I’d know we’re looking at the same thing.”

I rest my hand on the seat. He covers it with his.

“We don’t see everything the same way. But we’re still on the same side.”

We don’t add anything else. There’s no reason to decide inside a taxi what every image from last night means.

Midday

At home, we leave the bag with the two sealed envelopes in the bedroom. I open the windows and put the hotel clothes in the washer. Manos searches the refrigerator and concludes that food did not magically appear while we were gone.

“Order something?”

“Again?”

“We’re on vacation.”

“That doesn’t mean we forgot how the kitchen works.”

“The kitchen works. We don’t want to.”

We order two sandwiches.

A little later, Anna texts:

“Everything okay. What are you doing?”

I reply:

“Resting.”

Manos looks at the screen.

“Technically, that’s not a lie.”

“She didn’t ask what we did yesterday.”

“Thank God.”

Anna replies with a photo of her boyfriend asleep on a lounge chair.

“Us too.”

We eat on the couch. We talk about the laundry, Anna, and whether we need to go to the supermarket. We don’t reopen the night at the hotel. We don’t bury it either. We simply let it exist without analyzing it until every trace of heat is gone.

Manos falls asleep on the couch. Deeply, with one arm hanging off the pillow and one leg outside the blanket.

I watch him for a moment.

A few hours ago I watched him get out of a chair because he couldn’t stand being still anymore. Now he’s sleeping with his mouth half open.

The contrast makes me smile.

I move a chair near the window and open the laptop. Beside me I set a notebook and the small digital camera we haven’t used in years.

When Manos wakes up, he finds an adult streaming platform on the screen.

“Today’s fantasy or today’s bad idea?”

“Being watched. And I haven’t decided which category it belongs in yet.”

He sits beside me.

The idea doesn’t feel like the bar or the adult theater from my old story. A lens doesn’t look and then walk away. It keeps the image. It can carry it out of the room and leave it somewhere I no longer control.

On the screen, I imagine my waist, the lines in my skin, the angles I avoid when someone takes a picture of me. Next to younger, edited bodies, all of it will show.

“How far have you gotten?” he asks.

“I made an account.”

“With our real names?”

I look at him.

“Of course. I added the address too.”

He smiles.

“I asked because I was afraid I’d have to.”

“TwentyYearsLater.”

“That’s the name?”

“The username.”

He reads it again.

“I like it.”

“I didn’t ask.”

“That’s why I volunteered the opinion.”

We go through the settings together. No names. Our full faces won’t be visible. Nothing recognizable from the house. Nothing gets posted unless we both agree.

“What if one of us changes our mind?” he asks.

“We delete it.”

His eyes move to the camera.

“You know it might never truly disappear.”

“I know.”

“And you still want to?”

I don’t answer immediately.

“First I want to see whether I can stand in front of the lens.”

We agree to start with a private recording.

Preparation

We move the camera into the bedroom. Manos opens the small tripod and sets it opposite the bed, slightly below mattress height. The lens captures most of the bed, but not the door or the other furniture.

We draw the curtains and turn on only the lamp in the corner. The warm light hides enough that the room doesn’t feel like a studio, but not enough for me to forget my body.

We remove photographs and anything identifiable. Anna’s framed picture goes into a drawer. An envelope with our name on it disappears under some clothes. Manos turns his company-logo watch toward the wall.

We put on black masks that cover the upper half of our faces without limiting our vision.

I pour a little wine into two glasses. The first sips don’t erase the awkwardness. They only take off its edge.

Manos looks at the camera.

“How will we know if it’s recording?”

I press the button.

A small red light comes on.

“Like that.”

“Subtle.”

“It’s not a lighthouse.”

“We’ll see.”

The First Take

The first attempts fail.

In one, I laugh. In another, Manos knocks over the lamp. On the third, I freeze as soon as I watch the preview.

“I can’t.”

He switches the camera off immediately.

“Then we stop.”

“All I can see is what I don’t like.”

He shows me a few seconds of the footage.

“You’re looking at your waist. I’m looking at the way your hand reaches for me without you even thinking about it.”

I watch the clip again. My hand really does move toward him before I turn to the lens. I don’t look flawless. I look like I want him.

That’s harder to dismiss.

“One more.”

He doesn’t ask again whether I’m sure. He stopped when I asked him to. Now the choice is mine.

I press the button.

The red light comes on.

For a moment, both of us look toward the lens.

My body changes immediately. My shoulders pull back. My stomach tightens. I search for a flattering angle and hate myself for doing it.

Manos pulls me close and kisses me.

The kiss isn’t careful. His hands move down to my waist, tighten around me, and slip under the fabric. For a few seconds, I’m aware of the lens in every movement.

“Look at me,” he says.

I do.

His hands move over me without searching for a good angle. They travel from my neck to my breasts and press my nipples until they harden.

I start touching him too. His penis is already hard beneath my fingers. His reaction is real, immediate, and the lens can’t make it any more flattering than it is.

He lays me down. Our kisses deepen. One of my hands slips out of frame. His body covers part of mine.

We don’t correct anything.

When he enters me, the first sound escapes before I remember it’s being recorded. I lift my hips and take him deeper.

At first we move steadily. Then the pressure builds, and the red light recedes to the edge of my vision.

I lift my head and deliberately look toward the lens.

I hold my gaze there.

I smile.

I don’t hide the fact that I know I’m being watched. I don’t pretend the camera isn’t there. I choose to give it the image.

Then I turn back to Manos and pull him closer.

From that point on, the lens stops dictating our movements. My body finds its rhythm. His hands slide, squeeze, lose the right position for the shot. We don’t care.
