Gloria gave a low chuckle, her free hand rubbing slow circles on Mary’s back while the other kept stroking between her legs. “Yeah, he is. But he’s a man, and he feels like he can. I’m not saying it’s right, Mary. I’m saying it’s what he does. So you need to make a real decision. Like I told you years ago, either put up with it and figure out how to get yours, or divorce him. No more half measures. He’s not going to change.”
