Chapter 11: Analyzed
Fiction Sex Story: Chapter 11: Analyzed - A promiscuous young woman is committed to a controversial sex addiction clinic where she must contend with both the staff and patients (or should that be ‘inmates’?). Untying the Knot is an examination of erotica, submission, and the terrible things people do to each other when seeking meaning in their lives and in their actions; both at a personal and institutional level.

The warden wanted to take me straight to my scheduled session with coach Emma but I needed five minutes. My head was fucked. I asked him to take me back to my dorm but he refused. In the end I was granted a couple of minutes in the shower room to wash my face and compose myself.
I looked at myself in the mirror; tired, exhausted, beaten down. I just needed five more minutes for the puffiness to go down. I wanted to look cute for Emma as she was so nice to me.
I decided that I was done with Garth. I couldn’t see a way that I could go back to him after this was all over. He was changing and I wasn’t changing with him. If he wanted a good quiet wife to keep a house and cook his meals and dutifully spread her legs once a week for “lovemaking” then he could go fucking find one. There was no reality where I wouldn’t let a guy fuck me for an ounce of weed. If that made me a slut then fine.
I am a slut. This is who I am.
With my resolve returned, but no doubt still looking a complete wreck, I exited the shower facilities. The warden took me straight to Emma’s office.
We had a visitor today, he explained, but Emma smiled and waved off the tardiness all the same.
These things don’t always go to plan, she said, looking first to him and then to me, news from home is not always the good news that we hope for and want.
Emma closed the door on the warden and bid me to sit in the chair before her desk. She wore a skirt with tights and I’d have followed those legs off the edge of the world.
You don’t dress like the others, I observed.
Emma smiled as she sat down.
Why do you think that is?
I shrugged.
You’re more important?
We both laughed.
I’m certainly not a warden, she admitted.
But the Overseer, and Linda, they wear the whites too, but you don’t.
That’s very observant, Emma said. Is there something about how I dress that has stood out to you?
Your skirt, I said, and your tights.
Why is that? She asked.
She titled her head. Was this a leading question?
All the patients wear the same sweats and vests, all the staff wear the same whites, I said, playing it safe, so you stand out in that skirt of yours. Quite a bit.
She smiled again.
I wanted there to be a definition in the change between in here and out there, she explained, pointing at the door with her pen. So I made subtle changes, enough to spark the mind but not enough to overwhelm. Some of the people here are quite fragile.
Come to think on it, hers was the only room with humanity to it; a messy desk; pictures hung on the wall. Even the Overseer’s office was blank and post-modern.
So is this how you fool people into talking to you?
Is that what you think I’m doing; fooling people? Emma countered.
Well, I shrugged, you seem nice and all, but you work for the same people who caned me for talking out of line. The same people who herd us like cattle and record our conversations with friends and family.
Emma’s face wrinkled up, as if this didn’t sit right with her at all.
I won’t lie to you and say that I firmly stand behind all of Renew’s practices, she said, seeming to choose her words carefully, but I have seen lots of people walk out of this facility with a new lease on their life. I’m sorry you experienced punishment like that, but...
She hesitated.
You’ve never had any kind of talk therapy before, have you, Ally?
I shook my head.
Yeah, I can tell, she said, there’s a naivety to you. So, here’s how it works. Anything - and I do really mean anything, with a few exceptions that I’ll get to in a minute - that you say to me in here is one hundred percent confidential and private. If you can’t process what’s going on out there, both the bad and the good, and speak on it freely, then you can’t grow and heal from it.
I can tell you anything? I asked, dumbfounded. And you can’t tell anyone, not even the Overseer?
Especially not the Overseer, she laughed, but there are some rules. If something you tell me here means that some harm may come to you or anyone else inside or outside of this facility, then I am bound by law to report that.
Are there any other rules? I asked.
She crossed and uncrossed her legs. I wished that the desk was not there.
As a professional I am governed by a framework, yes, but I won’t bore you with the details as they are not pertinent. If we are skirting near any legal or ethical pitfalls then I will advise you.
I took a long, deep breath.
You’d be surprised how many people don’t understand how freely they are able to speak in these sessions, she said.
So, you know all sorts of stuff, stuff about all that’s going on here, right now?
Emma nodded.
I do, yes.
