AI has costs us thousands of jobs and even 'generated' (what the hell does that mean?) stories on this site. The Mars rover discovered the lava tunnels and water. It proved 'MOXIE' works! The part about the richest man in the world putting together a team to go to Mars is fiction, I think!

Dr. Luke Noms---I am now living on Mars. I have given up my hope that mankind will survive on earth. They do not have to worry about a meteor strike, they will eventually blow themselves up!
I used the wealth here on Mars to finance and populate a colony here. We are now self-sustaining, meaning we do not need to import anything from Earth. We have converted another of the lava tubes into a livable environment. I call it my ‘Farming colony’. There we have found a way to plant everything from corn to wheat. We have orchards, vineyards and groves of oranges, tangerines, grapefruits and bananas! We also planted a forest where squirrels, rabbits, deer, fox and raccoons abound. Residents enjoy hiking and overnight camping trips!
Another lava tube has been converted into our Livestock colony’. Here we raise beef, goats, sheep and horses. We even have a herd of dairy cattle that provides milk for the colonists!
All in all, we have 25,000 handpicked (by me personally) people living in harmony with each other. How was that achieved? Simple, I did not allow anyone who was religious to immigrate to Mars. There are no churches of any denomination allowed! We had some problems at first. People who considered themselves missionaries. They were quickly discovered, put into a deep sleep and woke up back on earth! There were a few who wanted to form a government; complete with a constitution, elections, a legislature and president. No! Mars is a privately owned company. I own it! I make the rules. You don’t like the way I run it? Go back to earth.
The governments on earth tried to give me some problems also. The United States, China and Russia ‘demanded’ that I allow them access to Mars. What a joke! They are still trying to establish bases on the Moon. They tried to ‘negotiate’ treaties with me and I refused to negotiate. The Chinese went so far as sending a ship with soldiers on it. It took them over 9 months to get here! That ship had ‘mechanical’ problems as they tried to land. All on board were lost. Our weapon systems are far more advanced than anything they have on earth. No one is allowed on Mars unless I give the okay.
