Marcus wasn’t quite sure what had gotten into him last night. It seemed like he’d just told Mina that he didn’t need to go casually hooking up with college coeds anymore, and yet the evidence of his questionable choice was still lying in his bed right now while he sipped his espresso.

It wasn’t just the fact that he’d hooked up with Theodora from Asian-American Studies class at all, but also the fact that he’d let her stay the night. He never did that with his one-night stands, that was too much of a relationship thing. He always made a point of letting the girls he hooked up with know that he had a girlfriend and wasn’t looking for anything beyond a casual fling, and he always bid them goodnight once they’d done what they came to do. And yet for some reason he’d forgotten himself and let Theo stay in his bed last night, let her sleep beside him, allowing the potential for actual feelings to get involved.

That wasn’t good.

Theo was starting to stir, fingers brushing her dark brown tangles out of her face, when Marcus’s phone chimed from a text message. He bent to pick it up just as Theo was starting to sit up in bed.

Mina: We still on for the movie at your place?

Marcus was reminded of the plan they’d made yesterday. He was still a little suspicious of the way Mina had been acting around him the last few days, but he wasn’t about to start shutting her out. He promptly texted back, Sure thing. Already got the beers.

“Who you texting?” a sleepy voice said. He looked up to see Theo sitting up and leaning forward on her knees as she regarded him. To his relief, she looked like she was simply regarding a casual acquaintance rather than someone she was falling in love with.

“Just my cousin. Making plans for tonight.” He said it casually, but was making the point that he had social connections other than the girl in front of him, just to be on the safe side.

“Your cousin?” Theo asked, sliding off the bed and pulling her bra back on. “Mina, right?”

Marcus looked up at her in surprise. “Oh, you know her?”

“Yeah, she’s in a few of my classes,” Theo said as she got back into her shirt. “She’s pretty hot. Is she into girls?”

Marcus blinked. She’d surprised him again. “What, you’re interested in her?”

“Only as much as I’m interested in you,” she shrugged. “Don’t you think she’s a babe?”

“Okay, getting weird now. I think I’m gonna go shower or something.”

Theo laughed at that. “Whatever you say, stud. That means it’s your own fault if I steal a Pop-Tart from your kitchen.”

“They’re bad for my waistline anyway.”

He heard Theo laugh behind him on his way to the bathroom. “Thanks for last night, Marcus. It was great. That girlfriend of yours is a lucky girl!”

It wasn’t just the self-disapproval or the awkwardness of Theo painting his cousin in a sexual light that Marcus was trying to scrub away when he turned on the hot water spray. The reference to Raven that Theo made had just brought to mind another factor that he thought might have led to his questionable choices last night: the updates he’d gotten from Raven about what was going on back at home.

Not only had Raven made good on her promise to seduce Zander, but apparently she’d gotten Paula into bed too. And they’d let Bobbi watch, up close and personal. It was like Raven was determined to work her way through Marcus’s whole family while he was away.

He tried to remember how he’d reacted when Raven had first told him over the phone what she’d done; he mostly just remembered sitting there in stunned silence, and then coming out with a weak and ineffectual “Wow.” There’d been a bit of conversation on the subject after that, but he didn’t remember much of what they’d said. Yeah, he’d given his permission, however uncomfortably, for her to go ahead with her designs on Zander, but he hadn’t expected her to expand those designs to the other siblings around them.

He wasn’t really angry about it; Raven was gonna be Raven. But he supposed some part of him had still felt the need to even the score. Could that have been the reason why he invited Theo to his bed and let her stay the night? He didn’t like to think he was that petty, but it was possible.

Ah, well, it was done. It was time to focus on other things, like that simple movie night with Mina tonight. Once he spent some pleasant time with a girl where sex wasn’t involved, things should start to feel normal again.

Despite the weird way Mina had been acting the other day.

Despite the suggestive way Theo had been talking about her just now.

It was all just silly stuff, not worth thinking about.

Wasn’t it?

Heather sat at the lunch table next to Paula, with Bobbi and Andie sitting across from them. Heather was staring at Paula with her jaw hanging open in disbelief.

When Paula had first gotten to school today, the words “on edge” did not do justice to the way she had been feeling, torn between the unbearable urge to tell someone about what had happened yesterday and the fear that made her want to take the secret to the grave. But Heather had been able to tell that something was bugging her, so in between classes, Paula had finally found the courage to take Heather aside and tell her in full detail what they had done with Zander and Raven. The pretty green eyes behind Heather’s glasses had been about to jump out of their sockets then, but apparently she hadn’t completely believed it.

Now, here at the lunch table, they’d met up with their sisters, and Bobbi had been able to back up Paula’s claim. Clearly now, Heather could see that Paula wasn’t kidding. “Oh ... my... God!!!”

“Yeah ... I know,” Paula said.

“That is so hot!” Andie said, her grin splitting her face wide open.

“That’s one way of putting it,” Paula added, blushing.

“And you and Bobbi really kissed?” Heather gasped. “Like, with each other?”

“Yeah, we really did,” Bobbi added, shrinking in her seat a little, sporting a blush that rivaled her sister’s.

“And you kissed Zander too?” Andie asked Bobbi. “You have to let me see that!”

“Whoa, okay, getting carried away now,” Bobbi said, putting a hand up.

“And you masturbated together? In front of each other? Naked?” Heather’s disbelief seemed to be climbing with every sentence.

Paula cringed. She leaned toward Heather and said, “A little louder, please? I think there are a few people in the next county over who didn’t quite hear you.”

Andie turned a look toward Heather then. It was a sly, scheming look, as if suggesting something naughty. Heather pulled back when she saw that look, raising a wary eyebrow. “What?”

Andie didn’t answer. She just tilted her head forward slightly, narrowing her mischievous gaze at Heather.

“No, Andie!”

“No, what?” Paula asked.

“What’s going on?” Bobbi said.

“Nothing,” Heather insisted, quite strongly. “Nothing. At. All!” She punctuated each word with emphasis right at Andie.

Suddenly, whatever wicked notion was going through Andie’s flighty and easily distracted mind was shoved aside when she saw someone else walking by. “Hey, Zander!” she called.

Paula and Bobbi immediately turned to see Zander walking by with his lunch tray. He stopped at the sound of his name and looked at the girls in surprise. “Uh, hi Andie.”

“Come here and sit with us!” she chirped, prompting both Paula and Bobbi to stare at her.

“Really?” he said. It was not an unfair question: Zander Greenfield sitting at the same lunch table with his sisters during school hours was about as common an occurrence as a full solar eclipse. But Andie emphasized the point by patting the bench beside her. Zander raised his eyebrows and looked around, but he accepted and sat down.

“So, what were you...” he started, but then stopped, looking at the faces around him. He grew visibly tense, and finished his question in a tone that suggested he knew the answer. “What were you talking about?”

“Yesterday,” Bobbi said, letting the full implications of that sink in.

“All of it?”

“Oh, yeah,” Paula nodded.

Zander fidgeted in his seat and awkwardly stuffed his face with an oversized bite of his sloppy joe.

“So was it ... was it weird?” Heather asked. “Doing ... you know, that, right in front of your sisters?”

“Well ... kind of. At least it was at first.” He glanced up, meeting Paula’s eyes, and then looking over at Bobbi. “But then, once we got into it, it ... oh, Jesus, I can’t believe I’m telling you this!”

“Don’t you dare stop now!” Andie gasped, staring him in the eyes. “It’s just getting good!”

“Andie, gear down,” Bobbi insisted, putting a calming hand on Andie’s shoulder. “Someone’s gonna hear you!”

“Is this gonna be a regular thing?” Heather asked. “Do you think you’re gonna keep letting them watch you?”

“Oh, and can anyone watch anyone now?” Andie asked. She pointed between Paula and Heather. “Can we watch the two of you together? Like in the room with you?”

“Andie, jeez!” Paula breathed, lowering her head to the table and putting her hands on her head. Heather too was turning beet red.

“What?” Andie shrugged. “Isn’t this a door that’s opening? Isn’t it?” She looked to Bobbi for confirmation, but Bobbi just looked uncertain.

When Paula looked up again, the main thing she noticed was the questioning look that Zander was giving her. “Don’t you go getting any ideas, Zander!”

“I think it’s a little late for that,” Zander said. “I think we’re all getting ideas here!”

“Hell yes, we are!” Andie said. And once again, she started giving her sister that odd look. Heather blushed again, and dove into scarfing her lunch a little too fast.

“Hey, you know what?” Bobbi said, taking Andie by the arm. “Why don’t we find another table. I think someone here needs a minute to cool off.”

“Bobbi, hey!” Andie protested as Bobbi pulled her to her feet. “Come on!” But she obediently grabbed her tray and followed Bobbi across the room, glancing over her shoulder at Heather as she went.

“You know, I think maybe I’d better leave you alone too,” Zander said, standing up and picking up his tray. “I’m thinking you girls need some time to talk a few things over.”

Paula was ashamed to admit it, but it was actually a bit of a relief when they were gone. Not for any harsh reasons, like the reasons she might have been relieved to lose them just a few days ago; just because it took some of the pressure off. She lifted her head and looked at Heather, who stared back at her, a little smile creeping into her mouth. “My sister, huh?” Heather said, trying to shrug it all off as some kind of joke.

Paula didn’t laugh. She practically didn’t blink. “You know what, Heather?”

“What?”

“I can tell you one thing I’ve realized after yesterday.”

“What’s that?”

Under the cover of the table, Paula stealthily took Heather’s hand and squeezed. “I’m even more excited for Friday night now.”

Heather could see her meaning plain on her face. As one, both girls turned their gazes to a table across the room. Lance was seated with a few of his buddies, happily joking and laughing with them. He coolly took a bite of his roll, and then noticed someone watching him. He glanced back at Paula and Heather, and gave them a suave grin and a small wave. They glanced at each other and giggled, before he turned his attention back to the guys around him.

“You’re right,” Heather said, clearly fighting the urge to kiss Paula right there in front of everyone. “I can’t wait either.”

Marcus’s roommates were all out tonight. Billy was on a date, and Nishant and Kallen were at some party. He and Mina would have the living room to themselves. He wasn’t sure why it mattered, but he found that thought a relief.

She knocked on his door at about three minutes past seven. Marcus was just finishing up preparing the popcorn when he opened the door to find Mina smiling brightly at him. “Hey!” she chirped.

“Hey there,” he said, looking down to take in what she was wearing as she stepped inside. Even for Mina, this outfit was a bit daring: the yellow tube-top was barely big enough to keep her breasts covered, concealing exactly nothing above or below them, and she definitely wasn’t wearing a bra under it. And if her cutoff denim shorts had been any more cut off or any shorter, her ass would have been hanging right out of them. “Wow, you think you could be showing any more skin?”

Even as the question left his mouth, he knew it was a Pandora’s box he shouldn’t have opened, remembering who he was talking to. She turned to face him with a sly look, and said, “Why yes, actually I could. Want me to?”

“Tempting, but, let’s keep things PG-13 for right now.”

“Buzzkill,” she teased.

Marcus was well aware of the fact that Mina’s family lived in a nudist camp, and that she mostly only wore clothes for the sake of those around her. If given permission, she would strip naked without thinking twice. More than once he’d seen her that way, especially on the occasions when he’d dropped by her room on campus and she’d answered the door without bothering to dress first.

“You got a movie picked out?” Mina asked, coolly walking over to the couch.

“Nah, hadn’t thought that far,” Marcus shrugged, going to the fridge to retrieve some beers.

“Good, ‘cause I know just what I’m in the mood for.”

He didn’t ask her to elaborate on that, thinking he didn’t have any particular preference tonight and thought he’d just trust her to pick something. He found himself questioning that decision once he finally sat down, handed her a beer, and saw what she’d pulled up on his streaming service.

He turned a curious look at her. “Really? Basic Instinct?”

“Think you can handle it, little man?”

“Oh, I can handle it. Just an interesting choice to watch with your cousin.”

“I’m an interesting kinda girl. Didn’t you know that?”

“I’m reminded every day.”

He was projecting his usual air of nonchalance, but he couldn’t help an air of uneasiness. Especially when the opening sex scene came on and he heard Mina make a barely audible breath of excitement. And more so when the naked woman on-screen started brutally stabbing her unfortunate lover, and Mina took hold of Marcus’s arm as if frightened.

“Maybe I should’ve asked if you can handle it,” he said, concealing the little thrill that had gone through him at her closeness.

“Shh,” she hissed, staring transfixed at the screen.

They continued watching, munching on popcorn and sipping beer and making idle chatter. Now and then as the movie went on, Marcus would glance over and notice that Mina had slid closer to him. Eventually he realized she was practically shoulder-to-shoulder with him.

And then Mina was resting her head on his shoulder.

He tried not to think anything of this, and write it off merely as a girl being affectionate to her cousin. She was allowed to do that. And yet the suspicious way she had acted toward him the other day was putting thoughts in his head. Thoughts he knew he shouldn’t be having. Thoughts he tried to ignore now, just as he was trying to ignore the tightening that was happening in his shorts.

But soon, those thoughts got a lot harder to ignore. As did what was happening in his pants.

It got to the scene where Michael Douglas was fucking the hell out of Sharon Stone, and Mina was very noticeably reacting to it. She was still leaning her head against him, but she was also squirming in her seat and clutching his arm to her, and he could hear her breathing harder. The feel of Mina’s body against him combined with the very hot scene on his TV now had him hard as steel in his pants, and his pulse was getting intense. Mina twisted just enough that he felt her breast pressing against his arm, and through the fabric of her slim top he could definitely feel a very hard nipple poking into his skin.

And then ... then there was her hand. On his thigh. Moving ... inching closer ... closer to that point of hardness. The urges to pull away and let her continue what she was doing were at war in him, and it was hard to tell which was going to win. But for the moment, the latter seemed to be dominant, because he wasn’t stopping her.

But at last, when it seemed like Mina was in imminent danger of actually laying her hand directly on the hard-on that Marcus couldn’t will away, he realized he could ignore the situation no longer. “Hey,” he said, “what are you up to down there?”

“Just getting comfortable. Aren’t you?”

“Not the word I’d use. Think maybe you ought to walk that hand back a bit?”

Mina turned her head, not lifting it off his shoulder, and brought her eyes around to meet his, giving him a smoky look. “What if I don’t want to?” she said in a low voice.

Marcus was familiar with having girls act like this toward him, and he wasn’t used to resisting it. But he wasn’t used to getting this kind of attention from a girl who was related to him. His rational mind told him to resist, but he wasn’t sure how.

He took hold of her wrist, arresting her progress toward his crotch. “Okay, you do remember we’re cousins, right?”

She gave a little shrug, like this was nothing more than a minor sticking point. “It’s just us here. I won’t tell anyone if you don’t.”

Marcus stared at her for a long moment. “Oooo-kay,” he said at last, and carefully lifted her hand from his thigh, removing it from its dangerous proximity to his hardness. “Let’s just keep watching, and not get carried away here.”

“Buzzkill,” she said again, just barely loud enough for him to hear her.

She didn’t try anything like that again for the rest of the movie. Although she did still seem to get more excited and press herself tighter to him every time another sex scene happened. But she obediently kept her hands away from the danger area, which to his dismay was still having a physical reaction to her closeness.

When the movie ended, Mina got up and stretched, fully displaying the shape of her body to him, especially when she bent over to retrieve her beer off the table at just the perfect angle to show off her ass to him. Marcus was a bit surprised to find there was a part of him that was tempted to reach a hand out and feel up that ass when she did that. Thankfully his self-control won out.

“Well that was great,” Mina said, downing a swig. “You know what they say: never trust a beautiful woman. Especially one who’s interested in you.”

“Should I be worried about you then?” Marcus said, giving her a curious eyebrow.

She gave him a cheeky smile over her shoulder. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”

“Take it how you will.” Marcus got up to toss his own beer bottle and retrieve another one.

“Hey, speaking of beautiful women, how was Theo? You have fun with her last night?”

Marcus stopped suddenly on the way to his kitchen and turned to Mina, blinking in surprise. “How’d you know about her?”

She made a small guilty chuckle. “Well, confession time, I kinda set you up. Raven asked me to make sure you didn’t stay celibate for her, so I kinda suggested she make herself available to you.”

“You’re serious? When I mentioned you to her, she talked like she had to stop and remember who you were!”

“Guess she’s a good actress. Also guess she enjoys messing with you.”

Marcus rolled his eyes and shook his head. “Jesus, it’s a conspiracy with you girls!”

“Big fat one,” she agreed, moving up by his side. “A conspiracy to get you laid, stud.” And then she boldly pinched him right on the ass cheek, making him jump, which made Mina giggle.

He resumed his former objective of retrieving another beer. “I swear,” he said over the hiss of the bottle opening, “between you and Raven, I’m definitely heading for an early grave.”

“Well then you’ll die happy. Imagine if you had to deal with both of us at the same time!”

“Oh, I’m imagining, all right,” he said, taking a long swig.

After that, they spent the next hour or so talking about normal stuff, like classes and friends and professors and things that happened during the day. It looked like Marcus’s prior expectation was finally coming about, and things were returning to some form of sanity. Just a normal evening hanging around and joking and talking with his cousin, the way a normal guy should. Nothing weird now.

When Mina eventually checked the clock and realized it was getting late, she got up and politely explained that she had classes to prepare for in the morning. Marcus escorted her to the door, chivalrously opening it for her. “Thanks for tonight, this was fun,” she said.
