Miles Morales was sitting back with a smile on his face. Normally he wouldn’t have been doing that, not at Visions Academy anyway. Back at Brooklyn Middle, he had acquired a reputation as being one of the cool kids, and one of the reasons for that was that he simply didn’t care. He simply coasted by on his grades, content to live out life as he pleased. All he needed were his friends and his ne’er do well attitude. If things got better for him, then they did. And they had, when he won that lottery chance to go to Visions.

He thought things would be the same. But he had that mindset wrung out of him as soon as he set foot on his new campus. Visions Academy had standards set for him. He understood that his first morning when he had to actually put on a school uniform. What really shook him out of it though was understanding that his street smarts which had gotten him out of so many hairy situations would not take him anywhere here. He had to do things by the book.

That wasn’t Miles’ worst problem. Not only were the teachers strict, it was the students too. They were nothing like what he was used to back at Brooklyn Middle. He didn’t know every single student here, figured he hadn’t seen all of them either, but he’d yet to find a single one who was dark skinned, not even a single Asian one either. He felt out of place, wondering if he really belonged. Always prided himself on being a black sheep in New York City. Now he was starting to relate to Jacko on some level, a black boy in white skin. Weirdo he might have been, guy was very much a product of America.

But it was easy for Miles to step up his game. When he left Brooklyn Middle, he wasn’t just some kid with no ambitions. Even back where everybody thought they knew Miles Morales, that was just another mask. At his old haunt, he wasn’t just a black sheep, he was the black sheep. A radioactive spider bite had taken care of that.

And Peter Parker had taken care of him. Been his protege for two years now. He was well out of the novice stages of being a superhero. Now with his own spider-suit and calling himself Spider-Man just like the OG, even going out on missions, his life was definitely not the same anymore. He had a lot to be proud of.

Things had changed so much. Him, his mindset on life, everything. Still, for all that changed, there was still a whole lot that was the same. Namely, girls.

It’s why he was sitting back and smiling. No matter how crazy things had gotten, girl talk always eased the mood. These kids at Visions were nothing like the ones back from he used to hang, lots of them were really stuck up and preppy. Figured that maybe it was a good thing he was the only black kid here, because if he found some rich douchebag kid who was dark or Asian, that’d make him stand out even more. But no matter who they were or where they came from, he could always relate to pining after smoking hot babes.

He was just listening in on their conversation. Some of them had given out some really crazy answers. Like some of the old lunch ladies or the ugly girls around school. Then they started giving out serious answers. One of them was talking about Gwen Stacy. Blonde, a bit stuck up, but yeah, he shared the sentiment. They wouldn’t shut up about her.

Miles was smiling hearing her name. Hearing all the guys getting so bold talking about her and what they’d like to do with her, he was starting to get ideas himself. Maybe even make her his. Blacks on blondes didn’t just need to be a porno variety. It could be real life. She smiled at him a few times and it made him want to melt. And a girl like her, he knew that for all her proper demeanor, she was probably a real freak in the sack.

“Hey you know who’s really hot?” said another one. “Mary Jane Watson.”

That got all the other guys hooting and hollering. Miles didn’t say anything, but that got his attention too. The whole country knew about Mary Jane Watson at that point. Once an up and comer, now her beautiful image was plastered all over the country. Whether it was commercials or magazine covers, even flashing across buildings on Times Square, and the occasional movie too, people knew who she was. With her classic beauty, she had no shortage of admirers.

Especially because he knew her. After first entering into Peter’s mentorship program to be another Spider-Man, it was a great honor to be introduced into his personal life. But he had no idea that his teacher’s lady love would be the one and only Mary Jane Watson. She was beautiful from a distance, but interacting with a stunner like her up close was being hit in the face. His life just kept on getting more interesting.

At that point, his classmates were getting really vocal about her. Talking about her commercials, about what they liked best about her. Even before meeting her up close, Miles had to agree. She was hot, and no guy in his right mind would deny that. Could turn even the most devoted of husbands into a cheating bastard and make the most classy of ladies want to start a nasty little cat fight.

But they didn’t know her, had never spoken with her. He was aware of his status as some out of place kid here at Visions. It was one thing to conceal his identity as another Spider-Man. It was another to have this advantage over these high and mighty pampered kids who thought they were better than everybody else. It almost made Miles fall over laughing. Some of them might as well have been royalty where they came from. Most of them would never be real heroes with all the perks and benefits that job brought on.

And all the headaches too. As soon as school was over, Miles was scheduled to meet up with Peter. The pride of his life came with responsibilities too. He hadn’t gotten the great power speech in the same way that Peter had, but he had it drilled into him plenty of times. Whether it was combat training or on missions.

Or even on boring patrol duty. Going to the top of one of New York’s many skyscrapers, Miles looked down on it all. Under the afternoon sky, it wasn’t sunset. But the sky was getting darker in that dim shade of gold.

This is my sun, Miles thought to himself. My sky, my city. Nobody can take that away from me.

Unbound with only heaven itself to see him. With his powers he felt like he was one of the first of the earth’s creatures to feel it’s light and would still be in those ranks as it sunk below the horizon. Together with Peter, he felt like on top of the world. Nothing like race or status to chain him down.

He might as well have been on top of the world. No longer dressed in his civilian clothes, he was no longer Miles Morales with all the limitations of that identity. Instead he was put head to toe in his black and red spider suit. There was only one thing that limited him here. And that was the OG standing beside him.

“You ready?” said Peter.

“Fuck yeah,” said Miles.

Even with Peter’s face masked, Miles could see the trace of a smile underneath. Maybe it wasn’t entirely sincere, maybe it was a bit of the seniority thing disapproving of his apprentice’s potty mouth. Two years of being partners, they were well familiar with each other’s personalities at that point. Had fought side by side. Still, things could get heated between the two.

If Peter objected to that about Miles now, he didn’t care enough to say anything.

Then they were off. Slinging from building to building, it had scared Miles the first time he did it. Not that he’d let it show to Peter. Looking back on it, he had a feeling the OG knew. He wondered to himself sometimes how Peter felt the first time he went webslinging across town.

Whatever fear Miles felt the first time around changed to excitement as soon as he was doing it. He was so caught up in it that all he wanted to do was do it again. Peter obliged and that just made Miles like him more.

It didn’t take long for duty to take over. He remembered he actually rolled his eyes when Peter taught him about proper patrolling. About making sure to keep an eye on the city streets below as well as to watch where you’re jumping. At first it took him out of the fun of the thing. Like he was learning to drive again for the first time.

But that was just one of the responsibilities of being a superhero. That boyish first time soon changed to the steady consistency of pride. He felt like a protector. All the people of this city under his watchful eye.

In his mind anyway. Peter watched him the whole time on his maiden flight. He remembered the first time he slung across the city rooftops. How he had adjusted beyond that role to real fighting, time after time as the blows would teach him new things. And how no matter how powerful he felt, he would still have much to learn.

It wasn’t long before the sky began to darken further. The sun almost descending to the horizon, most people would consider that enough to turn in, but Miles had developed a keen eye for navigating in the dusk. But soon nightfall would approach. Webslinging in the dead of night wasn’t so easy.

They both landed on the balcony of an apartment at a huge building.

“How about we call it a day?” said Peter.

“Works for me,” Miles said.

“Good.”

That made sense to Miles. He knew where they had landed. This wasn’t just any balcony and it just wasn’t any apartment complex. It was Peter’s pad.

Peter played it cool. Not wanting anyone watching to get the idea that the lovely resident here was at all connected to Spider-Man, he knocked on the slider door like he was just at some stranger’s place. Like he had no choice but to make an awkward intrusion.

The reality was so far from that. The slider door opened and the resident inside smiled at the sight of them. The two guys were also grinning ear to ear.

Anyone would feel lucky to be in her presence. Mary Jane Watson was well known across the city, was published in magazines and had her face put in ads run across the country. And soon she hoped to make it global.

But not many people knew her personally. Let alone had the privilege of seeing her up close in the flesh. That long red mane of hers was tied up in a bun but no matter how classy she did herself up, she would inspire desire and envy from everyone around her. Her luscious pouty lips were blank across her beautiful face yet to her admirers they spoke so many words and on a woman like her, it made her look like she was smiling. Barefaced now, her allure wasn’t just a thing airbrushed and edited to perfection, and yet for all the things that would make it flawed in the eyes of a photographer, the uneven freckles dotting her face and the dimples around her mouth, she still easily surpassed any model ten times more famous than her dolled up to look too good to believe. No, a woman like her was all real.

Especially now. This evening she was only wearing a blue silk robe embroidered with elegant gold designs and split open to reveal her jawdropping body hid inside. Wearing nothing on that save a bra and panties, both guys got an eyeful of her lovely features. Her massive rack, her smooth and flat stomach, and her sexy shapely legs. What so many men had salivated over from afar was laid bare to these two guys here.

And as he looked closer, Miles could see MJ was smiling. But not one of those dumb fake wide grins that so many girls and especially those at Visions liked to do. No, it was one where her lips smiled ever so slightly at seeing them again, just enough to make her look cute and sassy in equal measure. “Come on in boys.”

“Don’t mind if I do!” said Peter, walking on in.

“Uh, sure thing,” said Miles, following behind him.

That prompted her to giggle and Peter barely kept himself from snickering. Miles always felt worthy of the moniker Spider-Man after a hard day’s work. But that laughter from MJ made him feel like a boy all over again even though it was at his expense.

As if the sight of her alone wasn’t enough to do such a thing. Her back turned to them, Miles was deprived of the gorgeous sight of her body underneath. He was still having himself a view, even though the silk robe was not transparent, nothing could hide her naturally large cake from view, moving against the garment, bouncing with every step she took. He tried to keep himself from getting hard against his spider suit.

Fortunately he wouldn’t have to worry about that for too much longer. She felt his gaze on her and turned back to look at him, and that was enough to keep him from getting a stiffy on the spot. He was still masked but she saw where he was looking.

She looked up at him. He looked into her green eyes a little longer than he expected, they were so deep he couldn’t look away. MJ frowned a little bit, but otherwise shrugged her shoulders and turned back around.

Let him look, she thought to herself, grinning a bit at the idea. An innocent crush never hurt anyone.

For all his talents, Miles couldn’t read minds. Came so far in the world, but there were still things he couldn’t get over. Maybe it’s because in the regular world with the mask off, he was a black boy and she was a white woman. But he had felt her slightest bit of annoyance on her face like a knife.

“Peter, if we’re done here...” he said.

“Yeah?” he said, taking his mask off.

“I’ll be heading home now.”

“Oh yeah sure. Be seeing you Miles.”

Miles went back out to the balcony. He was just about to go slinging again when MJ said, “Bye.”

He barely kept himself from jumping up at that. A single word but her natural tone of voice, it made it sound so erotic and flirty at once. Enough to mess him up good. “Uh, yup, see ya,” he stuttered. He didn’t look back, even though everything in him wanted to. He moved his arm up in an awkward wave goodbye and then jumped forth. Not as confident a leap as he would have liked, but at least he was out of that situation.

He slung back home as fast as he could. His jumps weren’t as skillful or careful as they needed to be. Hoped they weren’t talking about him. He just wanted to be away from that whole scene.

It wasn’t long before he was back home. His folks weren’t home. That was a relief. He had some things he needed to do in private without any interruption.

He quickly changed out of his spider suit. Then he got on his computer. He was Miles Morales, was going to a prep school like Visions Academy, was the second Spider-Man and had saved the world plenty of times. And here he was getting ready to jack off on the net like any basement dwelling neckbeard.

The internet had so much porn and smut. Every fetish you could want under the sun. But he knew exactly who he was looking for. Mary Jane Watson. Had her own Instagram page and everything, just as good looking as anything else. Posed in bikini and lingerie. This time he’d seen her in that robe, it wasn’t the first time he’d seen so much of her.
