Chapter 4: Sunday Preparations

Fortunately I’m a quick dresser so we both made it to church with just minutes to spare - not even close by my standards! As we took our place in the pews where most of the colleges students sat, I looked around to see if I could spot Ed and his family. They may have been there but I didn’t see them anywhere. Maybe they’d gone to the earlier service so they could get home and prepare for the party? All I knew was that during the prayer time I prayed fervently that everything was OK at home and they wouldn’t have to cancel the party. Hey, is it really wrong to ask God for good sex? I don’t think so.

The service ended right on time as usual. One thing you could say for our pastor, he was punctual. It was also well known that he was a Browns fan and he wanted to be home in time for the kickoff! As we streamed out of the church, I looked for their car but nothing was in sight. Well, all I could do was hope for the best.

Back at our apartment, I got out of my Sunday church clothes and debated what to wear to the party. It WAS supposed to be a Youth sponsored gig so I had to dress appropriately which meant nothing too risqué, or actually nothing risqué at all if I wanted to follow the rules. That didn’t mean my jeans couldn’t be form fitted to my ass and my blouse had to be the right size. It’s amazing what just one size too small can do for your bust line when you’re trying to make do with what God has given you - even when you think God could have been a little more generous.

“So what do you have going this afternoon anyway, Kelly?” Jen asked, seeing me put on a little makeup which was unusual for me on a Sunday afternoon.

I explained to her about the birthday party and football game and she just nodded.

“Sorta pushing the line, aren’t you?” she said softly, as if she was afraid of offending me but felt it was necessary to say.

I knew what she was referring to. Although I was actually wearing a bra under my blouse, if anything it just made the outfit all the more sexier as the dark outline was clearly visible under my light beige blouse. It probably would’ve actually been more conservative for me NOT to have worn a bra than to wear this combination, especially when you have boobs as small as mine at the time.

“It’s not being held at church,” I rationalized to her, “Besides, I thought you’d be proud of me for wearing a bra for once!”

Jen rolled her eyes at my lame excuse. She knew full well what kind of appearance I was going for and it wasn’t to be conservative, that’s for sure.

“Well, I have to admit you surprised me there, sometimes I wonder if you even OWN one,” she giggled.

Jen was one of those girls that ALWAYS wore a bra, even though she had some of the most perfectly perky breasts a girl could ask for. She certainly didn’t NEED one but she was one of those girls raised by her mom to always wear panties and a bra.

I looked over at the clock and my eyes widened. I hadn’t realized it was so late already and here I was letting my roomie tease me about a silly bra. I grabbed a jacket and blew her a goodbye kiss as I hustled out to the cold parking lot and jumped in my car. I was pretty sure how to get to the house but it was in a part of town I hadn’t been in before. I wasn’t worried as the town wasn’t anything like the hills and curves that made up Pittsburgh back home. Indeed, it took me less than ten minutes to get there.
