Chapter 6: Hanging out with Shekhar

At dinner, both Deepika and Rhea gave a lot of attention to Shekhar. Arjun was happy that they were both taking care of him without him having to remind them. After dinner, they retired to the living room. Shekhar sat down on the long sofa and Rhea promptly sat next to him and cuddled up close. Arjun looked at her but she ignored him.

“Here you go, Shekhar.” Deepika said bringing the coffee for him. She had changed into a thin, cotton nightie that was slit all the way to her right leg. Deepika had beautiful long legs and this nightie showed her right leg when she walked. It had two thin noodle straps that were low enough to create a nice cleavage. “Come on, Bhaiya, don’t be an aunty jee.” Rhea was not deterred “I told you I used to date Shekhar. I am not going to be shy with him suddenly. That would be weird.”

Shekhar put his arm around Rhea “Arjun, leave her alone. She is a lovely girl.”

“Yes, of course. Sorry, Sir.”

“Just call me Shekhar, man,” Shekhar said “leave the corporate persona at the office. Your husband is such a dull man, Deepika.”

“I know.” Deepika agreed. She sat down next to Shekhar “He didn’t use to be, but this job has changed him, especially the last few months.”

“Hmm, it will all be sorted soon. Make sure you help him become a fun guy again once this is over.”

“Well, I can only try. It’s up to him.” Deepika said.

Shekhar looked at her “With a hot wife like you, I am sure it won’t take long.”

“You are such a sweetheart, Shekhar.” Deepika took the chance to put her hand on his thigh.

Rhea didn’t let Shekhar drink coffee himself. She insisted on holding the mug and lifting it to his lips.

They watched a little TV and had general conversation.

“I love your hair,” Shekhar said to Deepika “those highlights look amazing against your fair skin.”

“Aw, thank you so much, Shekhar.” Deepika again took the chance to put her hand on his thigh “My dear husband hasn’t even noticed.”

“You got them recently?” Shekhar said.

“What? I noticed. I said they look nice.” Arjun said.

“No, you didn’t, you liar!” Deepika said “That’s what he always tries, Shekhar, tries to bluff his way through.”
