Chapter 5: A Mutual Understanding

Brian entered Anna’s room as she was getting ready for the bed. She had a scowl on her face and was about to attack him when Maria entered the room. Looking at Maria, Anna stopped in her tracks and stood still.

This was the first time Anna was standing in front of him calmly. It was a novel surprise to see her at rest without her tantrums or her being feisty. While her appearance was messy, he could still see her mesmerizing beauty. Dressed in a semi-transparent baby doll, her figure left very little to the imagination. She had a nice body and the potential to achieve sexy curves, but she was too thin for his liking.

It was really difficult for Brian not to notice the really provocative clothes Anna wore and focus on his plan. Professional restraints he had carried in his practice for years helped him to be composed as he approached her.

Anna kept looking at Maria for assurance and confirmation. When Brian offered the medication pills, she did not pick them up but opened her mouth as if asking him to feed them into her mouth.

Brian swallowed hard, and his nerves were on fire. He hesitated a little before retracting the pills and placing them into Anna’s open mouth. She closed her lips around his finger, unintentionally sucking them. He struggled to withdraw his fingers from such a sensual act.

He then took the glass of water and forced her to take a sip of it. Vain as she was, Anna gazed at Maria for more reassurance. Some water spilled onto her breasts, making the semi-transparent fabric wet and sticking to her skin.

Maria approached her without any hesitation and used a napkin to pat Anna’s baby doll dry, right in front of Brian. Her actions were deliberate and sensual, as if she was doing it for Brian’s visual pleasure. After she finished, she helped Anna prepare for bed and turned out the lights.

Brian felt his heart racing very fast inside his chest. The short encounter was enough to arouse his long-put-away desires. Reluctantly, he stepped out of the room with Maria.

Outside, Maria spoke to him firmly. “You will come with me every time I go to meet her,” she said. “She needs to learn to trust you on her own.”

That was all she said and left Brian standing there, his mind still reeling from the unsuspected turn of events from which he had caught a glimpse of allure in Anna’s vulnerable state.

Brian continued walking toward his room, but already the scene started playing in his head. The way she looked at him with her pleading eyes, with her lips slightly open as she waited for him to touch them. Brian had never seen that side of her before, and it stirred something deep within him.

It has been fifteen days since Maria started to support Brian in Anna’s treatment. Although she had advised Brian on building trust between them, she never left them alone. He started on a major lifestyle change for Anna, and with his new medication and Maria’s support, things had worked out well.

Besides the drugs to make her more responsive, he stopped other unnecessary drugs. With Maria’s cooperation, Anna followed his regime strictly. A diet that was strictly regulated and supplemented with intense workouts placed her on the right trajectory. He also made her motivated towards hobbies for mood swings. It took repeated enforcement to make her give up on work and take a long vacation, but it had worked.

While she struggled with withdrawal symptoms from her medicines, the positive effects of his plan were visible. Her mood was much better these days, and she was filling out the lost weight. Her skin had regained its glow, and her smile brightened her natural beauty.

Jim had wholeheartedly approved of his methods and commended him on his early success. He also asked Brian to lead the treatment while his team would be on standby if Brian needed them.

Maria had also started talking to him openly, and they had developed a sort of friendship. She had agreed to his treatment plan for Anna and supported him completely. She was also in agreement with him that Anna should not make any public appearances.

The only thing that bothered him was the growing sexual tension that was present between him and Maria. He had acknowledged her wisdom and grace right from the first meeting. But it was a very recent thing that he started noticing her beauty as well. Her light tan skin had a healthy glow that hid her light wrinkles effectively. Her black hair had lines of white that gave her elegance and a unique look. When she smiled, her face glowed with beauty while her eyes sparked with mischief. Her age had only refined her curves, and she never failed to arouse him when he was close to her.
