Chapter 2: Discovery

Like I said we have been married three years and we are talking about starting a family. I had no reason to suspect a thing.

I am late for work. Maria just had to have a little loving before I left and I always take care of business. Know what I mean?

Well I rushed out of the house without putting the groundskeeper contract I had worked on last night in my brief case. It is about 15 minutes to my office. I remember it just as I am about to turn into the property so I make a U-turn and head back home. I park in front of the house and run in the front door. Where is she? I go back downstairs to check and see if her car is in the garage. As I pass through the kitchen I glance out at the pool. There she is! She must be swimming laps. I start towards the back door when I see another head pop up in the water. That head belongs to the red haired girl who lives next door. I did not know Maria and her were friends. Maria is treading water in the deep end of the pool. This girl swims over to her and they embrace. Then they are kissing, and not like friends or even sisters! Like lovers! They break the kiss and talk for a few seconds. Then Maria follows her to the ladder. I step back and to the side. I thought they were coming in the house but the red head goes over to the lounge chairs. She picks out a love seat with cushions and sits down.
