With the elven king's magic failing, the protection around the elves kingdom is lost. Humans and dwarves invade and take Queen Ysolde and her daughters captive. The queen and Elenora must serve in the human lands, while the Aelwyn and Lyralyn are imprisoned in the dwarven caverns. However, all is not lost. Thanks to human arrogance, Elenora secretly learns the art of elven magic. Can she use her meagre talent to break free of her chains, and start a revolution to save the elven lands?
