A fairy story of princes, witches and magic. A Prince about to become a King to relieve his uncle who has served as Regent during the Prince's childhood, discovers the kingdom is agog with reported sightings of the flowering of a Chocolate Rose in mid-winter, alleged to smell, feel and taste of rich dark chocolate.
