The Earth is invaded by aliens who want nothing but our trees and other cellulose products. The invasion is simple and deadly: flights of UFOs streak across the sky destroying every major human population center that they can recognize. Once the human population is dead or reduced to impotence, the aliens move in to rape the planet. This is the story of the fight against the aliens by a few very intelligent and lucky humans.
