It was in November that Brian broke his neck and became paralyzed. He still had motion in his arms but his fine motor skills and his fingers were affected. The nerve damage to his legs was complete and he would be using a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He wondered at the time if he would ever have sex again. It was only the following summer that his questions were happily answered by the personal care attendant he and his mother had hired.

After the New Year's Eve party that Julia and her husband had hosted, Julia stumbled drunk into the family room where her son Joey was sitting on the couch. Her husband was passed out in another room. Julia convinced Joey to dance with her, but soon the way she felt and smelled overwhelmed him. Joey's hands and lips began to roam over his mother, and in her inebriated state, she lacked the judgment needed to stop him.
It was dark, rainy and cold here in New York City. I hated it. I had been living in Honolulu for the last 8 years and gotten used to the beautiful weather there.
This fantasy is an homage to someone very dear to me. In it I envision a face-to-face meeting in which I try both to rekindle a relationship we once shared, and to help her rid herself of some of the pain of her past. Through an intense sexual encounter of my own design, I fail at both. My hope with this story is to depict my feelings for a most beautiful, complex and fragile creature whom I have loved.
