My interpretation of a very old book I once found in a library. A bug was created in a lab that escaped. It ate plastic, and reproduced very very fast. Here's my 21st century version of it.

This tale follows the path of the elven apprentice wizard, Daenellis, as she comes of age in a war-torn neck of the Western Realms while following the increasingly desperate struggles of her mentor, Nembariel, to keep them out of the conflict.
And now for something completely different. Once upon a time, Bob Fischer was a professional hit man, a torturer and psychotic, emotionless murderer. He was also a parent any child would love to have and a genius inventor, making multi-millions on his patents and who just happened to live in Paradise. Note that Garrigeld Island, Bender Bay and Bungun don't exist. Don't you just wish they did? And all this is written archetypally in Australian.
Duncan Wright and his faithful dog Kelly were plowing the company lot with his huge truck, aka the Beast, when an older model car pulled into the lot. It was a new employee for his company Grayce Williams. She was there with her daughter, Suzanne, and they had no place to stay. The motels were closed or full. Duncan invited them to stay the night with him and Kelly and their life began.

A Alone-A family thing Story Time marches on. No one wants to admit they can get old. Victor and I were no different. If we had it our way, Hell, we would be going strong at 80. Life, however, did not work that way. Bruno became the heir-apparent. The 'Family' was going to remain a family business too. Another follow on story will soon be added. Alone Part III, I think.
