Reviewed:
This is the first "longer" story by an author who has been gradually improving her skills. This story does not fit the genre of her previous stories, having no sadistic content. Instead it is the story of an innocent newlywed who is gradually and carefully seduced by an older neighbour. As she comes to realise her enjoyment of purely sexual (that is, not "love") situations and degradation, she allows him to lead her into ever more "perverted" activities. There is no compulsion, no forcing: this is a woman who is experiencing pure sex as she has never encountered it, and who thirsts for more.
The first few "scorers" of the story clearly have marked it based on their response to the plot rather than on the actual merits of the story. Do not be misled: this is a damn good story, well worth reading. This review sets out to more objectively rate the construction and merits (or demerits) than to try to comment on the situation of the heroine.
The author sets the pace of the story beautifully. While one might question the likelihood of the response the heroine has to the initial gambit of the neighbour, willingness to give suspension of disbelief surely applies to most stories on this site. Once the initial response is given, the author teases the reader unmercifully as she drags out the seduction. This is a high skill, and one to be cherished and nurtured.
The plot is clever, making use of a few twists that allow the seduction to continue reasonably smoothly. The author is careful not to allow extraneous details to slide in that might detract from the readers' growing excitement.
The technical quality is high, with few (if any) spelling or grammatical errors. The construction is solid, causing the reader to want to progress quickly, unless they are unwilling to accept the premise and plot - in which case they should simply leave and not score the story rather than trying to punish the author for having divergent views from their own.
As a stroke story it qualifies near the top of the range: lots of sex, well described and neatly packaged. The reviewer particularly enjoyed the heroine's revelling in the "dirtiness" of the situations.
As you can see, I recommend it highly.
