I have to say, at first this looked pretty formulaic - older man rescues young woman who is on the street. Takes her home...
Fortunately it changed very quickly. We found that Steven was far more noble and had stricter principles than it initially appeared and that Becca was far stronger, more resourceful, and smarter than we'd thought at first. Our two heros make huge changes to the lives of many around them while dancing around their own relationship. In the end it takes a near tragidy to... (read to find out).
A very well done novel lenght story. Great character development and well written plot. This one has enough angst and conflict to keep the us guessing about just where it will go in the end. We (I) know where we want it to go but we can't be sure that's going to happen.
High technical quality. I don't remember noticing problems, but I may have been so caught up in the story that it would have taken a big mistake to get my attention.
This is a romance story. No stroke rating at all. Highly recommended along with it's sequel.
