WHAT A GREAT STORY!
Carter Dawson awakens as a telepath and mind controller. He gets mentored by minions of the guy who "changed" him, gets brutalized by another and then gets "weaponized" so that he can exact his revenge.
Plot: The plot itself is pretty good, if straight forward. There are a few dead-end sub-plots that I wish would have been expanded, but all in all, the "story" would stand right up with some of the best.
Technical: A few "standard" misspelling/missing words/wrong tense "oopsies", but nothing that would make it unreadable. That said, an editor could spend some quality time making this story shine.
Appeal: Did I tell you yet WHAT A GREAT STORY this is? So, yeah... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
