In "Taming Of The Shrew", we have the story of a woman that has risen quickly through her job on her ability, but now has reached a point that she is always stressed out by the decisions she has to make. Feeling like she has to make every decision herself, she takes the help offered to her by her young male subordinate. Finding that her stress is decreased, she continues to let him make more and more decisions for herself. How far will he and she go in this power exchange? Read along and find out.
The sex in this story is not bad, but I didn't find it as erotic as it could have been. As the author indicated, it was written as a secondary part, coming in after the power exchange progression. There is nothing wrong with that, but I was left feeling like there was a lot more on the table, sexually.
The plot itself was an interesting look at the power exchange dynamics being taken to the extreme. Very few D/s relations evolve down to a total power exchange where the sub is incapable or unable to make any decisions for themselves. Most Doms simply don't want to waste time having to tell a sub every detail. Being in the lifestyle, it was harder to get into the story due to this feeling a tad unrealistic. If you aren't in the lifestyle but like D/s stories, this one may fire up your imagination more than it did for me.
Technically, the story was very well written, and no errors jumped out at me.
I found this to be an interesting exercise in total power exchange. Most stories that involve that tend to be more violent in nature. This was quite gentle in its approach, and the woman's struggles were all internal monologue.
Different folks will get different results from this story. I didn't find it as stroke worthy as some other D/s material, but it was an decent read about a very uncommon D/s situation.
