Janna calls it a 'quickie'. Okay, it is short. But it's really good, too, with excellent character development, a little story line, all building to a really good climax (several, actually) at the end.
I really wish she'd go back and add a chapter or two, but until then, I'll settle for this sweet taste.

Sibling incest stories are popular fare here at Storiesonline. Many of us see the possibility of a special bond between two people who have shared much of their lives. This is probably particularly true of fraternal twins such as Ben and Bonnie in Janna Leonard's new story "Pillow Talk".
Unlike many authors who seem to thrive on action, violence and power games, Jana Leonard's stories seem to exude peace, romance and strength - I find them soothing. There's still conflict - without conflict there isn't much to a story - but things rarely reach the point that I tend to term 'overwrought'. In Jana's stories the conflicts seem to be proportional to the responses and to feel more like something I can imagine happening in my own life.
In this story, Ben and Bonnie grow up together on a ranch/farm on the plains - a long ways away from anywhere. In that sort of setting you can imagine siblings either getting on one another's nerves to the point of violence or, as is the case here, becoming each other's best friends.
There isn't much sex in this story, though what there is is handled well.
The plot is fairly straightforward, as is fitting for a story this length. Not that there aren't surprises, it's just that the reader has the feeling from the start of where the story is headed. The pleasure of the story, in this case, is the trip. The prose is well done and fitting to the overall feel of the story.
All in all this ranks as one of my favorite sibling stories, only leaving me wishing that it were longer.
