Jack and Jill, the continuing saga of two Wonder Kids in SoCal.
Old Fart writes a great story. Just enough drama to keep from getting bored and enought titillation to keep it from being PG-13.
This follows the two, Jack and Jill, as they continue to grow. Personally I think it's a little weird to allow a 14yr old to move in with her boyfriend no matter how mature she may appear. But that's just me.
Jill is driven with a capital "D" and Jack while not holding her back does center her and at times borders on holding her back but remember, SHE'S the one that is so driven she often times runs over folks. Jack puts up with it but he does reign her in enough to remind her that she is his girlfriend and he will NOT be left behind.
The story is really day to day activities that sometimes seem to drag along. That is the narrative of the story though.
If I could change ANYTHING about this it would be some of the minute detail that is covered. (I don't care for the step by step description of making a meal/snack and the feeding of same.) This carries over to other parts of the narrative that seem on the verge of distracting the reader but never quite does that. There is a reason for what The Old Fart does.
Things are changing in the lives of the two love-birds and I for one, hope they and their relationship can keep up with it.
So in the next book the following questions may be addressed but not answered: Will Charlies Mom come home whole? Will John find true love? Will Jill out do Jack in accomplishments and will the business sustain itself?
Oh, and what about June? Is there a man in HER future?

Just read and enjoy, take out the few explicit sex scenes and you have a good PG13 story of teenage love and accomplishments.
