Want an oddly touching story about cars? Or should I say Cars?
The bad:
It's short. There's limited character interaction until the end. We really only get to meet one of the characters from the movie in any depth.
The Good:
It's funny. It's about a cross between a Pixar movie and an established, if minor, SF universe on SOL. A man gets his dream Car(s). The main character is not a static, 2D piece of cardboard -- he's as well drawn as the other main character. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.) And, let's be frank about it, I love that movie. I saw it in theaters and repeatedly on DVD before I went blind.
In the end, if you liked the movie, read this. If you like the Zsazi (or however it's spelled) Highway stories, read this. If you just want a little non-sexual fun, read this. Oh, hell, just read this.

From one of SOL's primo Authors comes DB_Story's "Radiator Springs..." tale. This is a wonderful romantic story of a guy and his car. It's romantic and sexy without sex (Db's never kinky). He manages to tell a tale with a car's perspective in a way that makes you feel like it is real.
I don't review stories that I consider less than a 10 so I'd rate this a 15 for story plot, 19 for technical quality and an 18 for appeal to reviewer. This really isn't a stroke story by any means.
