Hero's Reward is a great story, and a great read! The Hero in question was indeed a hero, but not for what he did initially, although that was truly heroic in its own right.
The story is about an age old truth, the power of love being able to heal even the worst hurts. As horrible as man can be to his fellow man, its nice to see that the opposite is also true.

Seriously a great read! Don't pass it by, this was my second time reading the story, and it won't be my last!

This rated a twelve on my wow meter.
I was impressed not only by how well written it was but also by how well thought out and romantic. It had all the little things that makes a story wonderful, loss and love, despair and hope, and an ending that makes even the most cynical about love smile. It is well worth the time it takes to read, entertaining and fast enough paced that you don't get bored or want to read ahead. A definite must read if you like romantic stories and one that I will recommend to anyone looking for something to read.
