This is, quite simply, one of the best stories I have ever read.

Previously, I had Frank Downey's NiS at the top of the heap for my favourite stories. Now I will have to make room for Mr Freeze as well.

The characters are extremely well written and very believable.
The sex is hot. No, the sex is HOT.

There are very few (none that I could see) grammatical mistakes or errors that pulled me out of immersion. Rather, I found myself looking at the scroll bar trying to get it to go down slower. The writing is very solid and extremely clear.

The plot, once you accept the NiS basis, is extremely realistic and doesn't require too much of suspension of disbelief.

I look forward to reading more.
