Reviewed:
This story is about the burgeoning sexual relationship between Paul and Chris. She's his "babysitter," even though she's only a matter of months older than him. Being a girl, she obviously more mature and sensible than he is.
Well, that's the theory. In practice, she's just about the same maelstrom of horny hormones as her male counterpart.
She's exactly the sort of girl I really wish I had known when *I* was 15 (instead of the unfathomable creatures of mystery I was actually faced with.)
There's clever use of implied description and the story really does just jump straight in with the erotic imagery. From there, it's quite a stimulating ride.
I'm getting into a (possibly bad) habit of posting a review before the end of a story but I have to play it as I see it. This one is at chapter 3 and already the central characters are alive and breathing and have very much potential to get into all sorts of romantic situations.
I've mentioned in other reviews that I really have this 'thing' for dialogue. For me, it's the big difference between a good story and some laughable cack. "The Road to Hell" scores about as high as it goes in that respect. The story's dialogue dial goes all the way around to 11.
The realism of a telephone-sex scene is excellent as is the general feeling that this really could happen to real people.
Stroke rating is high so far and plot is not exactly an issue at the moment but, as I say, it's early days and all sorts of plot devices might be in the offing.
