I’m greatly indebted to Joe Mezza for directing me to this one. This is the author’s only story on SOL, and it’s been incomplete and inactive for a dozen years. However, at the time of writing it’s had over 320,000 downloads, and has a score of 8.90 There’s a LOT of it, over a quarter of a million words by my guess, so it’s not one for the faint-hearted.
The plot starts simple. Jack, a self-employed IT guy inherits a wooden puzzle box and unexpectedly finds himself the master of a sex genie. With her sex-related magical powers, his technical skills and new-found self-confidence, they transform the fortunes of a mail-order sex toy company and its employees. The good people get rewarded, the not-so-good get their come-uppance. The take-down of Ms. Krieger is an under-stated joy. Hey, it’s a fantasy.
Technically, the story is well written and free of annoying errors. The plot is extremely imaginative, although in my view the story contains almost too much to take in. Being picky, there are several sub-plots that might have merited their own stories as part of a series – I suspect I’m not the only reader who’s a little wary of starting on a 1069KB epic.
But, don’t be scared of this one. It’s great fun!

This is up there at probably #2 or #3 of the stories I wish would be finished.
This is a somewhat trite plot: main character finds a genie, she grants him some wishes, and they have tons of amazingly, mouth-wateringly, hot sex. Where it changes, however, is that then the genie sticks around!
I found the main character in this story to be pretty easy to connect to, as far as main characters go. The change that he undergoes through the story is subtle, but makes the story all the more touching once it's realized. Having an extremely rare characteristic of a character on SOL, a job, was also a novelty that I enjoyed, especially since it was a point relevant to the main plot. The genie was also effectively conveyed - she's a real character with feelings instead of just a plot device generator.
While no real conflict exists in the story, it's still somehow compelling: the reader wants to find out what sexy hijinks our hero and his babalicious genie will get up to next.
This has lots of sex. I'm not sure how anyone could think otherwise, considering the description states that the main character finds a sex genie, but I'll say it again: lots of sex. The sex here, despite mostly being between only two characters, is really great, and somehow escapes being boring - most likely due to magical powers. The author shows a good command of the language, a good thing since the story would be fairly dull otherwise.
I can't help but feel that this story was nearing its end before it became inactive. Things were coming together, character development and changes had occurred and been confirmed, and I think another chapter or two would have been a fine place to end.
An end is something that this story does not have, however. While I usually avoid unfinished stories like the plague, this is one that I recommend reading. It has a fresh take on a lot of sex-related matters, and the author's description of how incredibly attractive the genie actually is should not go unmentioned.

Joe Brolly creates a very realistic take on the "I found a genie!" story, and makes it an incredibly engrossing little world. You get drawn into the protagonist's sex life, as well as career, and get to 'experience' the over-the-top sexual perfection that is a creature designed to be a perfect fuck.
The main character manages to open a cryptic puzzle box handed down from a weird relative, and in doing so, frees a genie. Said genie is (naturally) physical perfection, a walking wet dream, and proceeds to put our protagonist through his paces. Luckily, that's just the beginning.
The story manages to avoid some of the pitfalls that come with stories of this type, and keep you coming back for more. Characters that are actually likable, and fairly realistic, keep you interested and rooting for them.
Of course, this is a fantasy world, so things have a habit of coming up roses at every turn, but what else would you expect with your own personal Genie?
Joe Brolly's only story, sadly left unfinished. If anyone knows his whereabouts, tell him he's sorely missed, and that we want the rest of the tale! Until that happens, enjoy this thoroughly appealing story for what it is. You won't regret it.

This "Incomplete and Inactive Story!" has had me fascinated for days. it is long at 1069 KB, but if there were more of it I would still be reading.
It has a TPA of 9.9.9 and score of 9.15, which I am about to increase. This magical sexy story says ding, ding, ding ding to me! In short, I wish I had written it, but I'm still proud I got to read it.
