Serenity Falls is an amazing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The story features Adam who grows from an insecure teenager to a confident young man in the span of a little over a week. If you enjoy paranormal stories where not everything is as it seems, then you'll love this story.
I'm giving the plot a 9 because it was brilliantly written. The only reason why I'm not giving it a 10 was because the final chapter before the three interlude chapters felt rushed. Instead of summarizing all of it, it would have been better to give it its own chapter and take the time to show the reader the details of the aftermath.
For the technical side, I'm rating the story a 7. The chapters could use an edit to remove some blatant mistakes which were annoying at times. It also wasn't always immediately clear who spoke with the dialogue, although in the grand scheme, that was a minor issue. From the context you could usually figure it out easily enough.
My overall appeal for the story is a big fat 10, however. I loved the characters, their interactions, how it all worked together with the plot, and let's not forget about the smut. The smut in the story is incredible. It's well paced, not over done, but also not rushed, and summarized at the proper points. It's rare to see it handled as balanced as it was in this story.
I hope you'll give this story a chance since Nightfuel is a talented author. Most likely, you'll find it hard to put the story down and just keep reading like I did.
