I think this might be my favorite story on this site... well, in the top 2.
What happens when you take an alpha and follow his development from birth?
This story is about dominance from childhood through fatherhood. I don't know of another "alpha male" story with a better plot or sex scenes that add so much to the plot (and they are NICE sex scenes). I hope the author eventually continues this series.
You may notice a #9 for technical quality. This is only because the course of events hopped around a little and the timeline was a little difficult to follow at times. This could be completely on me, however...

This is a story with lot of sex. Like Elsol says on the title page, he wrote this story as a pure stroke one but then again he is ElSol. He cant not make an enjoyable plot in his stories. The story is very weak without the sex but as a whole it is a tremendous read.
The story is very aptly titled 'Wolf Summers' because there are many comparisons, both direct and indirect, between the main character and a wolf. An alpha male who is extremely possessive of all his female mates. Very few typos and not a single dialogue seems forced. They all flow into the situation beautifully.
A must read but then again I review only must reads. :D (no offence others!!)

In "The Wolf Summers", we get the story of David, a young man that grows into an alpha wolf, and plays with many a woman long the way.
The sex in this story is nearly constant, and gone into with great detail. The stroke value for this is quite intense, especially if you are into dominant males taking on strong willed females. The women aren't made less by their submission, but become more through the freedom their submission gives them. The sex is often incestual, so if that bothers you, steer well clear of this one. It is also emotionally detached, but no less passionate for it.
The plot itself is ok. It serves its purpose as a vehicle to move from one sexual encounter to another, making the advancement from one situation to the next seem plausible.
Technically, there were one or two typo errors in the whole story. However, at the length this story is, the were easy to forget about. They never impacted the immersion into the story.
"The Wolf Summers" is an interesting read, and one I enjoyed, though not as much as I could have. ElSol tends to write all of his male characters as relatively emotionless alpha males. The character feels protective over the women in his life, and the emotional detachment allows the author freedom to incorporate many women into his life better, but it leaves something missing if you enjoy romance in your sex stories. The real love and affection expressed in this story is between David's women to each other, and to him.
How ElSol can take a main character that expresses no emotion other than controlled anger, and gives us no reason to like said character, yet makes us enjoy the story, is a true testament to his writing skills.
I am a huge fan of ElSol, and if you have read any of his works and enjoyed them, you will like this story.
