A nice if somewhat flat-toned telling of a cliched plot, friend consoles lonely wife whose husband is absent.

Although the setting is stated, there is no real sense of place or time.

Characters are nice enough people, rather civilisiedly going about getting the lady off.

The sex is well described, but again, in flat tones that almost manage to render it non-titillating.

Language usage, general grammar and syntax and spelling are good, though again, rather flat-toned.

All of that said, I'll be checking one or two of the author's other stories to see if they are as well-written but possibly a little less flat.
