Another off the cuff review by yours truly.
I haven't written any reviews lately as I have been in reread mode and the few new stories I have read did not excite me enough to comment.
Judgement Day by DeYaKen
A short story so I can't say much without spoiling it. A twist on the cheating wife story that is well written with good flow. No 'speed bumps' that I noticed (A speed bump is anything that affects the flow of the story). Definitely has the humor that is promised by the tag. It is written in British English and yes there is some terminology that may confuse speakers of American English if they are not familiar with the differences. A lot is implied that I find keeps my imagination tickled while reading. The story lacks any graphic sex and also has done away with that most annoying history flashback found in many cheating stories.
In summary, I enjoyed the twist and the humor. It does not have a lot of the negatives found in other cheating stories though for some of you out there that may not be enough to give it a go. I recommend it if you don't mind short stories and aren't put off by the subject matter.

Someone is gazing at the neighborhood, seeing for sale signs in the yards. Suddenly movement in the window across the street brings his attention back to what concerns him at the moment.
An opening condensed to a few quick sentences, who was watching that window? What was his concern?
DeYaKen has created an exciting situation for you, the reader. Judgement Day is a quick tale of a wandering wife and what happens when her wandering meets her disgusted husband.
