This was an amazing sequel to "City Limits," and to some extent even more captivating. It summons up all the attributes of a classic novel: Crime, redemption, love, intrigue, suffering, drama, evil vs. good.
Along the way, there are many twists and turns that kept me at the edge of my chair and well past midnight to get on to the next revelation.
The characters are well developed, especially with regard to their individual personalities and traits. There are quite a number of individuals, and yet I was able to identify them throughout the story and identify with them, as well, which made the story that much more dramatic.
Overall, I was glad the author had the courage to write a sequel to the original story "City Limits," so as not to leave his readers hanging and to give them closure, as well as closure to the protagonists of this saga with an underlying plot that exposes so much of child sex abuse and trafficking. For that, I commend the author for shedding light on such an alarming topic so prevalent in today's world.
I also commend and appreciate the author's talent for his ability to write with clarity and fine purpose. I hope more readers will give this story their time, their emotional connection and their thumbs up.
