This was fun, trust me! Read the story and you will understand why I say that. LOL
This starts off in Good Olde England and ends up out in the prairies of the US Midwest. Along the way, it just seems to be a lot like Groundhog Day, or there is that old quote attributed to Yogi Berra... "It seems like déjà vu all over again."
There is a good reason for the early chapters to be like they are and it really does all come together at the end as any good story should do. Along the way, we get to meet a lot of Micks and Angels but they are each lovely in their own way and it really is a big part of the story.
Along the way, we also get tidbits of the background to all of this until finally all is revealed.
I could suggest that the news is earth-shattering but then I don't want to give away the plot. Read it and find out for yourself.
So, to the ratings. The plot was well-paced and planned. There was always a little something that kept you clicking for the next chapter. Many threads were cleared up by the finale but maybe there is enough there that a sequel could eventuate, not sure how good it would be though. Once you have had the Big Bang there isn't much else that could go wrong and need fixing on such a scale. What do you think, Mick?
There has been some good editing as I didn't find anything that needed fixing, not that many stories out there that can have that said about them.
Authors, no matter how good an Author you think you are, another set of eyes can usually find things that you have missed. If you want to be a successful well-read writer then do yourself a favour and find some good eyes to team with you. It is worth it in the long run.
Appeal: Oh yeah, lovely ladies, space drama, growing families. I am a sucker for all of these things. Reading this tale left me with a big smile and the satisfaction of having read and good tale. Try it, I think you will like it.
