Reviewed:
This is an interesting story, but one that stops after the first chapter with most of its interesting situations unresolved. Voting is turned off so that method of expressing satisfaction or otherwise is not available. I suggest you read this short (11k) story and email the author to tell him what you think. I think a couple of more chapters would greatly improve the story if some of the problems the heroine had were resolved in a satisfactory way. Telling you what my problems are with the story would give spoilers.
I am not going to give a very high score to plot. A lot happens but the explanations when any are given by the story don't ring true to me. I am going to give it a five, below average, a D. The technical quality is fine, I will call it an eight which is an A in my grading system. Appeal to reviewer, a tough decision, this would be so much better if the protagonist wasn't, upon release from prison, left without any of her other problems resolved. She is an appealing character and after much internal debate I will score this a seven, which is a B.
