When the Spiders invaded the colony they sent the First Calvary regiment. It was an ancient term the empire still used to identify units that were quick response. It was also because we also used fast lift transports to ride into battle. Now we had to take the fight to the Spiders and take the planet back.

The year 2015, exploding from the fertile imagination of Ka Hmnd, springs forth a story of soldiers in space. 1st Cav Trooper, fresh out of advanced training, in a distant colony world spiders had invaded. The Troopers were too late to stop them.
But they are back to take back the planet and drive off the spiders.
The spiders had developed flight, so we were fighting flying spiders. Residing in extensive evergreen forests coming out of substantial round nests armed with sonic lances and ceramic matrix fighting knives, it seemed more like we were battling hornets or wasps.
Ka Hmnd let his demented mind run wild with the polygynous affairs between three fellow female soldiers and his male soldier and memorable sex scenes. Riveting sexual situations follow intense battle scenes. Ka Hmnd keeps the action flowing.
Overall 1st Cav Trooper is an exciting story from a relatively new writer (he started in June of 2014). A great story with sex and exploding spiders.
