Oh Yeah!

Hi All

I can't believe that people many didn't think "Salts" was funny! Or "Who's Sleeping With Whom?" or "Got Milk?" or even "Have You Ever Had The Feeling That Something Was Going To Happen?".

I know I have a sick and twisted wit at times. And I know that I often end stories that allow the reader to use their imagination as to what will happen next instead of leading them like a bull with a ring through it's nose to a certain conclusion. But come on!

I laughed when I wrote them. I laugh when I read them over. And I chuckle my old wrinkly ass off at the ones that don't get them and give them 1,2, and 3 scores.

Read on!

The Fortune Of The O'Dells Ends

Hi All

First thank you to the many who shared this adventure with me. I can't tell you how much your emails have encouraged me.

So the story ends and the next book, "The Passion of the O'Dells" will begin on Valentines Day, February 14th. And it will chronicle the O'Dells move from the plain to Boise, ID, the adventures one in World War 1 and of two in World War 2.

I also am going to make another plug to get nominated for a few stories that I'm very proud of from 2020. "Friends and Family" is my favorite and although it is only sitting at a 7.97 score due to one 6 score very early in the story, I think it is very worthy of a nomination.

I'll never get the votes of readers that my friends Michael Loucks or Gordon Johnson get, but being nominated as an author would make me puff out my chest a little.

Finally, would anyone be interested in me making some of the longer stories out on Bookapy? I don't do this for money, but have been told that there are people who would be interested. Let me know and I'll think about it.

Thank you again for your readership and support and comments, yes even the "You suck!" ones.

Now that I've recovered from a mild bout of Covid (the cotton swab scraping the inside of your skull is not fun) and its triggering of gout in both knees and my left foot, life is looking pretty good, Although I must admit that my rather erotic dreams of how I was going to spend my 69th birthday never came to fruition because I was quarantined.

Such is life!

A Purely Mercenary Post!

HI All

The Clitorides Awards are open for nominations. I am going to beg, I would do it on my knees, but they are suffering from the aftereffects of having had Covid.

I think, judging from comments and scores that the stories I have posted in 2020, that these three stories are worth a vote or three.

Friends and Family - Epic Erotic Story

The Strawberry Patch Book 3 - Life On The Savannah - Eric Erotic Story

Who's Sleeping With Whom - Humor

I also think that I grew a lot as an author this year. I may not be Author of the Year, but I think I should be in the top 50!

So, please help make my recovery from Covid a bit easier.

Thank you for your consideration.

Mick

Silly Error

Hi All

The 23rd chapter of The Fortune Of The O'Dells was posted Sunday morning and as soon as I read it, I realized it was not the edited chapter.

I've submitted the correct and edited chapter and Laz should have it up soon.

Sorry, the first several pages were so clunky.

This is also the second to last chapter in the book. The new book The Passion of the O'Dells will debut on Valentines Day.

Hi All

First THANKS! So many well wishers. Have no fear, I have a strong group of people I work with who are keeping and eye and me and have formed a "Get Mick Fatter" Committee that drops off food for me everyday!

I've already taken the time to rewrite and make corrections to "The Pool Party" ( one of my first efforts), "Breaking The Rules" (just a weird one), and "I'm Going Along" (a little piece on the slow degradation and the saving of a marriage).

Now that I'm back in the groove, so to speak, I'll need to worry about carpel tunnel again.

Oh! And a special shout out to my friend and wonderful fellow author Gordon Johnson for having the care to correct and edit my last blog post! When I grow up, I want to be like him!

Mick
