Hi All
No sooner had I put out the last chapters than the corrections can in. I'm not a pro at this and sometimes I write in spurts as short as fifteen minutes. There are times I have to go back and read huge chunks of what I wrote in order to continue on the right direction.
I've been told some authors don't like being corrected. I know I don't like it when the only correction is "You Suck!' But who wouldn't?
I've said this to each person who had offered a correction over the very few years I've been doing this, I appreciate your readership and the fact that you care enough to offer corrections and observations.
I've got about a dozen stories fleshed out of the single sentence idea phase and have no idea which one will grab my muses attention and set me on a path. I'll do my best to post correct spelling, correct use of the language, and I hope you will continue to graciously tell me when I fall short.

The last two chapters of The Phlox Kid will be posted on Friday morning.
Why two chapters? And well you may ask.
What was supposed to be the last chapter went on for about 8,000 words and I like to keep my chapters at about 6,000.
Therefore Chapter 12 is only a couple of thousand words.
And in my usual fashion, I do leave room for something to follow.
Don't ask when, cause I don't know any more than you!

With all the craziness around SOL this week, I almost didn't post Chapter 10 of "The Phlox Kid".
I spent the first part of the week pulling stories that didn't fit Laz's description of what was now going to be allowed here. I was going to spend time seeing if I could rescue them and and then post them again.
Instead there were other developments and so I was able to finish Chapter 10 and get a few thousand words done on Chapter11, which could be the last one in the story.
I don't know why but the western genre seems to have tickled my fancy. And if any of you have ever had your fancy tickled you know how alluring it can be.
Anyway, thank you for reading and voting. The story is almost at a 9!

I've been working my butt off. At my age I supposedly already did that and should have no butt remaining. Surprise!
So I have a new story. It will begin being posted on the morning of Friday Jan 31.
It's called "The Phlox Kid" and it's a western. Should run for 7 or 8 weeks.
