Hi All
I'm working on finishing The Strawberry Patch Book 4, and the Strength of the O'Dells as well as another profession book for my RL life.
Of course along the way my brain wanders and I get other ideas. I try to wash away the bad ideas with liberal amounts of adult beverages. However, some just seem too good to let go of.
I have got 4 stories that I've allowed to survive the adult beverage phase of creation. One is a cheating wife story called "Pay To Play", another is a Western called "The Phlox Kid", another is a swingers story called "Summer Party" and a fourth is a mess called "What If You Knew?".
I've been thinking of putting the four in a document and posting it for a short period of time to see what the folks who read my stories can see what grabs them.
Let me know if you think I should put out these starts or if I should just get back to work on my other projects.
Mick
I fixed Chapter 28 so I no longer have Paul suggesting the pregnant wives go and get drunk.
Sorry.
Don't know what in the hell I was thinking.
Move along. Nothing to see here.

Hi All
I took a break from writing "The Strawberry Patch: Book 4" to do some fixes offered by readers and make a few changes of my own.
Thanks for the nice scores on this one. I have a few more westerns in my mind for when I'm done with "The Strawberry Patch" books.
Thanks for reading and for caring enough to send corrections.... other than "You Suck!"

Hi All
I did a redo on another story earlier this month and forgot to post it.
"Another Dark And Stormy Night" is the story and boy did I catch hell when the first few chapters came out. The comments were mostly, "You Suck!' and "When is something going to happen?"
BurkaOz wrote a good review and I encourage you to check that out.
I'm very happy with the story. It is also one of my all-time favorites. I don't see the sense in redoing a story I didn't like. I'm actually thinking of culling the herd and deleting some of the stories that I posted just because I could.
Please give it a read and perhaps you'll change the low score you gave it when you first read a few chapters and then bailed out.
Thanks
Mick
Hi All
I've found that in the process of writing the last chapters of Book 4 The Strawberry Patch, when my muse gets bored or distracted she fires back up when I look to redo past stories.
In the past three years my skills as a writer have grown to the point that I can see glaring deficiencies in my early stories. So when Muse Baby takes a break on a current effort, I jump on a past one and fix it so it read like it wasn't written by Grog. You know Grog. Me Grog. Me rit. Me no need speel chek or emditr.
Yeah, him.
The latest redo is one of my favorite stories, "Another Dark and Stormy Night". I love this one and now it doesn't hurt me to read it again!
I hope you enjoy it if it's a first time and even more if it's a second read.
Mick
