My congratulations to the top three in SOL's Halloween Story contest

'The Secret of Bishojan Women' by Kin Asdi came in first place.

'Saving Luna' by Crimson Dragon in close second.

And 'All Hallows' by A.U. Link in third.

It has been a crazy several weeks here in Oklahoma. The real world has bit me in the butt and slowed down some things to the point that I forgot to post the latest chapter of The Strawberry Patch,

I've submitted it and hopefully Laz isn't up to his ass in alligators and can get it out soon.

The next few chapters may be delayed because I let my advanced writing fall behind.

Hi All

Last week someone asked me what I thought was the favorite thing was that I'd written. I asked for the context since I write a lot of stuff that has noting to do with this site.

The answer was "of the stuff posted on SOL".

It took a few hours to remind myself of what was posted here and finally I had to say "Friends and Family" specifically Chapters 25-26-27 (Home and Work Parts 3-4-5).

I really like the whole story. I posted the first chapter on Feb 23, 2020 and the last on Aug 9, 2020 with a grand total of 27 chapters.

I think this story was the one that made me realize that readers who made negative comments were affected by the story. I'd touched them enough that they had to drop a note. The problems with the comments section is that a conversation can't really take place.

Anyway, Friends and Family is my personal favorite story, along with "Mick and Keri" and the O'Dell saga which I'll get back to when I'm done with the Strawberry PAtch story in a few months.

Hi All

I just got a note from a reader who asked me why the comments were not turned on for the story "The Story of Wynifred and William". It won the 2022 Clitorides for Best Seasonal Story and she wanted to leave a comment.

I went and looked and son of a gun! I'd forgot to allow comments. I liked writing the story and with Halloween coming and a new contest getting ready to start, I figured I better turn on the comments.

So now y'all can tell me I suck, once again!
