With some, after the fact, but outstanding editing assistance over 100 errors were squashed as I submitted rework of all 11 chapters tonight. When it posts, it should, I hope be displayed as version 1.1.
I am now half way through the first draft of the second thread and hope to complete it in a week or two.
For those, who enjoyed the first thread and sent me email, thank you. It was appreciated. Best wished to all for the holidays. Right now Jake is having the time of his life in Mindanao, not far from General Santos City. He has stocked up on fireworks for the celebrations to come.
Having written the damned thing almost three years ago, it sat in my personal documents folder until author wtsman, of the George Series, urged me to post my own stories.
So I dusted Jake's first thread off, found a great editor, (many thanks to Gus) and finally submitted it.
I had written outlines for Jake Thread 2 and 3, but had not filled them out.
Each of those have some threading possibilities, but I think three direct threads will do it. I am about 1/3 to 1/2 through the second thread. The third one is proving to be a little more difficult as the facts I need to handle are a little more technical and I like accuracy.
I have been told of typos that exist in Thread 1. Please be so kind as to send me the particulars. My editor and I made a valiant effort to weed them all out. If any still exist, the fault is all mine. Please take pity on me and let me know. I have read that manuscript so many times and I can't see what I have already missed again and again.
