I've begun posting 'Sharlene'. There are five chapters in all, which will appear alternate days as usual. I began the story after posting 'The Older Woman', but stuck halfway through chapter 2. As a result, "I'm a Believer" and "Dulcie's New Challenge" got posted before, though they are chronologically later. There is obviously potential for a continuation of Sharlene's story, but I think that will pick up rather later. We'll see.
Thank you to the many who have expressed interest in the spreadsheet, and to those (some of them the same!) who have responded to my 'RIP Diana Rigg'.
Bless you all.
Ted
A remarkable actor and a very beautiful woman. To me, she is ever Emma Peel in the T/V series 'The Avengers, between 1965 and 1969, but of course she played many other parts, including a Bond film and "Game of Thrones".
A very sad day.

I'm gratified with the number of people wanting the spreadsheet reconciling the Dulcie, Jenni and Serendipity series. Just to remind you, I need an email address and your preference for format - .xls .ods or html.
The site mail doesn't have an attachment facility.

A reader - X.Z.Mouse - has prepared a spreadsheet which collates the chronology and crossover between the three series. I've just tried to post it, but apparently it is not acceptable. Anyone wishing a copy can request it via the site mail by sending an email address.
It will, of course, require updating at intervals.

I'm constantly surprised by the popularity of my Dulcie stories even though I love my character a lot. There's an element of wishful thinking - as in most of my writing - as religious life is rarely as straightforward as Dulcie's and her friends, and I, for one, am less than happy with the way that church authorities behave, sometimes. Dulcie, of course, lives in a Christian 'universe', and her encounters reflect that, but she's tolerant, or accepting enough, to be friends with others of different traditions.
I will soon be posting a sequel to 'The Older Woman', which will fit in before 'I'm a Believer'. The lives portrayed are not easy, but perhaps are easier than what we can expect for ourselves. It's not real life, it's fiction. It's to be enjoyed - I hope.
