Chapter 11 posted earlier this week. This chapter picks up after the Christmas party with scenes involving Caroline, Youth Group Leader Jennifer, family, and other familiar faces.
For the first time this chapter has art. Yes, AI rendered character art (18+). An experiment. Character art has something I have wanted to do since I started writing but was unable to make happen but now tech has caught up.
The story takes place in the middle of December 2005 closing in on Christmas. There are probably 2-3 chapters left in this Act 1 of 3 Acts.

Earlier this week Chapter 10 posted.
This chapter concludes the Wilkins small Christmas party as things kick into higher gear in the living room. I'll just say a kitchen timer and wooden spoons are involved.
I am currently writing chapter 11 which I hope will be near the same length at around 7k words.

Earlier in the week Chapter 9 was posted. If there was a theme for this chapter, it would be virginity stories. That wasn’t the plan when I started writing over a months ago it just came about.
It is a long chapter at just over 10,000 words. My editor Steve and I started with the bare bones of the story, and I added depth later on. There were a few false starts and miss directions. I hate writing virginity chapters, so this took time to find the right mix.
I also research and look at what was happening along the timeline. Like back in the late 80s Monster Rock was big. I even saw the Scorpions myself. Joan Jet was cool.
We are getting close to the end of 2005 and the end of book 1. I will continue to tease and toss curveballs. Nothing worse than a boring overly predictable story.

I have posted Chapter 8. There are probably 2-4 Chapters left in Act 1 which I plan to finish by the end of this year. This chapter is setting up the rest of December 2005. I have not even written a word on the next chapter and am busy with work so no date on Chapter 9 to share.
Just enjoy this fun chapter where a lot is learned and some fun is had by all.
I wont say go Cowboys, because we all know how the 2005 season turned out for them. (all football scores are accurate)
