Now that the guests have all left us, it's time for me to get back into writing. I'm slogging through the next installment of Band Geek Diary and it's going a little slow. I'll get my engine warm before long and move the story along.
Meanwhile, I dragged up a few stories from the archives to share with you. They're early works of mine. I hope you like them.
I'm not, but everyone else seems to be coming here. I probably won't have much time to work on stories for the next couple of weeks, but I promise to make up for it once the holidays are over.
I hope everyone enjoys the holidays. Meanwhile, I leave you with a short little tale of a pair of lovers who have to part for the holidays. Enjoy December Morning when it shows up in the new stories feed.
I'm doing the final cleanup and editing on Chapter 4 of Band Geek Diary and plan on posting it later today. These diary entries only cover November 8, 9 and 10, but it's a very eventful weekend. John starts to figure out what his parents are up to with the Kowalskis, though he still shudders at the idea that Abby could end up as his stepsister, and John's girlfriend, Katie, has a plan to give up her virginity that really surprises him.
Thanks for your support.
I'll just toss this out there for anyone who'd like to take the idea and run with it as a story to add to the Band Parents Universe. My brain just re-ran that scene in the movie American Pie where Alyson Hannigan's character says, "One time in band camp, I stuck my flute up my pussy" and I thought it could make a funny story. Perhaps one of the princesses in the flute section went away for a summer music camp where things got a little wild? Anyone want to take this on? Let me know.
Yes, I'm still working on the next chapter of Band Geek Diary and have gotten bogged down in November. It's coming along, but it keeps growing. To hold you over, I just submitted a new story.
Alex is a transgender romance.
When I began this story, I found myself wondering, "what if the neighbor boy that moved away a few years ago comes back as a hot chick and we end up having a great romp in bed?" After all, what better fantasy could there be for a bisexual man than a 'chick with a dick?' But I try my best to write realistic stories, and as I researched gender transitioning and fought for the realism that I felt the story needed, it morphed into something beyond the fantasy.
I discovered that the process of transitioning is full of obstacles, emotional and physical pain, counseling, hormone therapies and some terrifying surgeries for those who choose to make their transition complete. As a result, my little stroke story took on more of a drama as our young heroine took her long journey to become herself. The story became more of a romance as well, as she seeks out the man who had been an anchor for her when she was a boy.
This story is dedicated to the real transgendered men and women in the world who face a long and painful voyage. I truly wish you all the best.
