My very sincere thanks to Guns97, CoullPert, davidl150, Peabody, yellowperil, bikerjerk, AllisPapa, olddave1951, and any others I may have missed, all of whom took the time and effort to mail me corrections of various homonyms, possessive apostrophes, and the stray disappearing words. Their corrections, through Chapter 10, have been made and revised chapters posted. Their contributions have made my story even better.
My continued thanks to all who took the time to comment and send me emails on previous chapters. Chapter 10 should be up soon.
'Man plans, God Laughs'! RL proved, yet again, this old Yiddish saying. Nothing earth shattering or all that important in the scheme of things but the result was a delay in posting the next chapter.
Chapter 8 has been submitted to the moderators. As a reward to my patient readers (and the impatient readers too) I've added Chapter 9. Enjoy!

I've submitted Chapters 5 and 6 to the moderators to cover next week as with the Holidays fast approaching and my travel schedule I'm not sure if I'll be able to post any new chapters next week. If I'm able to post next week then I will and Chapter 6 will be a Christmas gift to you. :-)
I've also corrected some grammar, homonym, punctuation, and spelling errors in the Prologue and Chapter 2 and submitted them for posting. My Sincere Thanks to Guns97, CoullPert, and AllisPapa for taking the time to send me errors they found. It is truly appreciated!
